My main hobbies are video games and calisthenics, but I love exploring different activities, from drawing and reading to watching movies and playing sports. I'm always open to new experiences and enjoy anything that keeps me active and creative — mens sana in corpore sano. Driven by my passion for technology and innovation, I earned a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome. As a new member of Emergent Swarm Solutions, my role focuses on integrating, refining, and optimizing advanced localization techniques for real-time swarm-level drone operations. I am particularly interested in improving the reliability of localization in dynamic environments, ensuring drones can navigate accurately even in challenging conditions. Last week Tuesday Emergent attended the Uncrewed Systems Meetup in Amsterdam. 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 The successful demonstration of project FORESIGHT for an army brigade of Ministerie van Defensie shows the integration of advanced autonomous software on NLR's drone platform. Together with Koninklijk Nederlands Lucht- en Ruimtevaartcentrum, we showcased how advanced autonomous software can enable flight through complex areas, such as urban areas and forests -- all without relying on communication and GPS. Many different defense-related applications of the technology were discussed, including autonomous reconnaissance in urban and forested areas. The brigade's enthusiastic response and innovative ideas for operational deployment inspire us to keep pushing boundaries. 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞! We’re excited to announce two key milestones: 1️⃣ We’ve secured our pre-seed funding! This investment is a critical step in advancing our vision of scalable, platform independent autonomy and swarming technology. A huge thanks to our investors for their confidence in our approach. 2️⃣ We’ve moved to a new office on the 12th floor of the Aerospace Innovation Hub @TU Delft. This new space gives us the room and resources to continue building as we develop software for the next generation of unmanned systems. Exciting times ahead as we are currently building a couple fresh development drones. As always, we’re grateful for the support of our community and partners. Here’s to the work ahead!
