🎉 Big news from our portfolio company CarbonX, which secured a €2.5 million grant from the prestigious EIC - European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator! The funding is a significant milestone for CarbonX, as it is one of only 71 companies out of 1,211 proposals to land the grant. 💪 The €2.5 million grant, combined with a €5 million equity package, will accelerate CarbonX's goal to fully replace graphite in EV batteries and ramp up collaboration with cell manufacturers in different commercial cell formats. 🌍 Securing raw material supply chains in Europe is more critical than ever before. CarbonX is the only drop-in material solution that competes with Chinese graphite on cost, battery performance, sustainability and secure supply. "I am very proud of this accomplishment,” said Rutger Van Raalten, CEO of CarbonX. “It's great validation of our technology and demonstrates a complete product offering at the right price. Last week, our portfolio companies VIVOLTA and VivArt-X joined a group of representatives from Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM) in meeting Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to discuss the future of regenerative medicine and #medtech collaboration. 🤝   The visiting delegation, which included representatives from GREATER MSP Partnership, Destination Medical Center (DMC), and the Mayo Clinic, participated in insightful roundtable discussions and breakout sessions. Key discussions involved leveraging Mayo Clinic’s resources to accelerate the adoption of Dutch innovations and exploring opportunities for collaboration between Provincie Noord-Brabant and Minnesota.🌍   ✨ During the visit, VIVOLTA's Ramon Solberg presented the company’s innovative electrospinning technology for regenerative medicine and drug delivery.
