Europe must strengthen its commitment to Ukraine. Avalor AI is dedicated to this mission. Ukrainian production is incredible. Therefore we partner with the best manufacturers, and improve their systems even more by adding Nexus. To achieve this we regularly visit Ukraine to set up cooperations, integrate and test the systems. Two weeks ago, we joined the UK trade mission alongside the Ministerie van Defensie and the Ministerie van Economische Zaken, in collaboration with the MODs of the UK and Norway. We visited several UGV production facilities and discussed how Nexus enhances UGV operations, especially when combined with UAVs. In the week after, our engineering team visited multiple UAV manufacturers, and completed the first integrations of Nexus. This integration will enable a more effective operation. Together, we are building a stronger Europe.

January 2025 started with a bang! We had the honor of providing technical support to the Koninklijke Landmacht during Caribbean Djokja, a military exercise for the 13th Delta Company of the 11 Luchtmobiele Brigade (11 Airmobile Brigade) on Curaçao. Our drone software, #Nexus, played a crucial role in delivering a military common ground control interface, enabling intuitive control for both #RSTA and #Strike missions. It seamlessly integrated with various systems from our partners in the European Uncrewed Ecosystem—including DeltaQuad, Quantum Systems, Airvolute, and Tective Robotics, all connected through Silvus Technologies and Doodlelabs.io. Under the leadership of Rémon de Bruin, Jan W. and the Uncrewed System CD&E team, we engaged in short-cycle innovation towards a ‘layered UAS’ operation, developing new features overnight based on end-user feedback. Being on-site allowed us to equip the Company with tools to refine and experiment with new TTPs, while our developers gained firsthand insights into the operational impact—both desirable and undesirable—of our #software and #AI features. These lessons proved invaluable in further enhancing #Nexus. This collaboration between the 13th Delta Company and our development team exemplifies how military innovation in Europe should move forward—founded on trust, commitment, and transparency, backed by the Ministerie van Defensie and a strong European ecosystem. What an incredible turnout for the first Uncrewed Systems Meetup in Amsterdam! The event brought together more than 200 visitors from industry, government, armed forces, and capital, demonstrating that the Dutch unmanned ecosystem is ready to move forward. A special note of appreciation goes to Ruben Brekelmans for his keynote on the Dutch action plan for unmanned systems. We are also grateful for our engaging panel consisting of Simon Wouda, Christine Foekens, Mikhail Kokorich, Alexander Ribbink and Raymond Knops, that helped frame the challenges we face of building up the industry and military. Furthermore, we received an address from the Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Strategic Industry, Ganna Gvozdiar, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Dutch partners for their unwavering support in Ukraine’s defense initiatives, and Ukraine's commitment to collaborate with the Netherlands' defense industry by sharing frontline experiences and collaborating on innovative technologies like unmanned systems. During the evening session, concrete progress was made as cooperation agreements were signed between Dutch and Ukrainian industry. Let's continue building a stronger Europe together! Swarming with UAVs from different manufacturers - DeltaQuad, Quantum Systems, Airvolute and Auterion - is a key milestone in our collaboration with the Ministerie van Defensie. This project addresses critical challenges in interoperability, focusing on seamless integration across diverse unmanned systems. A few weeks ago, we participated in the European Defence Agency conference, where interoperability was the central topic. The growing variety of unmanned systems demands solutions to ensure they can work together efficiently and effectively. At Avalor AI, we’re taking on that challenge. Our mission planning software and onboard autonomy solutions are fully platform-agnostic, enabling true swarming and teaming capabilities. By integrating UAV platforms from different manufacturers into one Command & Control system, we aim to enhance mission efficiency and effectiveness. Our work extends beyond UAVs. The same approach is being applied to UGVs, USVs, and UUVs, with the goal of creating unified, interoperable teams across all domains. #BuildingAStrongerEurope
