How much of myself am I willing to give up in the name of love? was a question Enid found herself asking more and more as the confrontation between her and her ex grew nearer. A useless question to ask at this point, but one she couldn't seem to get out of her head regardless.

Don’t Die Digging is a visual novel about the pains of personhood, about coming back from the dead wrong, and about how painful love can be when you give too much of yourself in its name before being ready for it.

This game was made in under two months for Yuri Game Jam 2023, written, programmed and drawn by me, with music from Nihilore and Alice Walker.

attending my first wedding since I was a kid today. besides being a good excuse to visit home, it’s also the first time I’ll be wearing a suit which is very exciting. gray blazer, red shirt, different shades of brown for everything else, as has become my color palette over the years.

funny that transitioning didn’t change my wardrobe preferences in the slightest, it just made me more comfortable in them. I still dress like someone who’s confident in their jacket’s ability to fully block a stabbing attempt.

Seeing as Don’t Die digging has been included in the Power of Pride 2026 bundle, I figured now might be a good time to give the game a look-over and polish the script a little, as well as tweak some art and add a few more CGs, so that’s exactly what I spent the week doing.

Welcome to version 1.1 of Don’t Die Digging! Grammar errors were fixed, some other stuff was tweaked and some new art has been included in-game!
