How to add 2 more tape drives to a tape library in Veeam

I currently have a Quantum Scalar i3 tape library with 4 drives. I need to add 2 more drives to the library in Veeam. We bought a new SAS card, and have not yet installed it into the tape server. When I do, and connect the 2 new drives to it, I am unclear as to what I will need to do in Veeam to get it to recognize that there are now 2 more drives in the library, so I can add them to the correct media pool. Will it automatically see them?

I installed Nutanix on my desktop to do some testing experiments. I requested my email address to activate Nutanix CE, but when I logged in, a message was displayed indicating that my email address did not have access rights. I tried to activate it on the CE registration page. However, I entered the same mailbox name as my.nutanix, and it showed that the mailbox was invalid, please help my mailbox [email protected] activate Nutanix CE

Issues creating 3 node cluster on bare metal

Hi All, I am trying to set up a 3 node cluster in Nutanix CE 2.1 but I don’t seem to be able to get past the creation of the auth certificates, my set up is as below: Dell PowerEdge R7515 2U Rackmount Server1 x AMD EPYC 7H12 64Core 2.6GHz CPU512GB (8x64GB PC4-3200AA-R) DDR4 RAM6 x 1.6TB SSD PCIe NVMe Gen 4 2.5" Dell Enterprise Hot-Swap SSD - used for DataPERC S150 Software Controller for NVMe Drivesx24 way Backplane for up to 24 x 2.5" PCIe NVMe Hot Swap DrivesDell BOSS Controller Card w/ 2 x 240GB M.2 SATA SSD - used for AHVBroadcom 5720 1Gb Dual Port Onboard LOM (2x1GB RJ45 Ports)Broadcom 57414 Dual Port Mezz LOM (2x10/25GB SFP28 Ports)1x 960GB PCIe NVMe Gen 4 2.5” - used for CVM these are connected to a Dell SF-S5148-ON 25GB switch which is then uplinked to a Sonicwall TZ470 firewall. the issue I seem to be seeing is that when creating the cluster, the CVM is unable to connect to the control master and then is unable to copy the certificate files via SCP, I have checked communicatio

Nutanix network setting problem

Hi sir I have three devices. Model is NX-1175S-G8The networks of the three NXs will be connected to a 10G switch.This 10G switch will be connected to a 1G switch.Each NX is connected to the switch with two network cables.The function is to use NCM. However, after setting up more than 30 VMs, the network will be disconnected seriously. It is found that it will be stuck on the 10G switch. However, if the port connected to NX is limited to 1G, it will work normally.But the device will send out a warning message.CVM not uplinked to 10GbE NICIt was detected that the Nutanix packets were very large, causing the 10G switch to be unable to handle the load.(about 1.61Gbps)Because there is only one line going up to the 1G switchI have tried another brand of 10G switch, but the problem is the same.If the 10G switch and the 1G switch do not use lacpHow can I adjust the Nutanix network?Thanks Network traffic

slow performance with Citrix MCS

Hi, we have a new Nutanix Cluster with three nodes. Now we will move our citrix farm from VMware to Nutanix.But on Nutanix the VMs much slower as on VMware. We use publish desktops with Citrix MCS an Fslogix.Login with VMware takes 15 seconds with Nutanix more that 50 seconds.The Nutanix Hardware much better then on Vmware.So we don‘t understand why it is so much slower.Also we use the Best Practice Guide from Nutanix for Citrix MCS.so have anybody an idea, why Citrix is slower on Nutanix and what we can do to speed up the system?

Some virtual machines missing DNS settings post failover.

Hello Community I’m having an issue with some of my VMs post failover support has not been able to help me. We have a local cluster and a remote cluster. All of our VMs have static IP addresses. When I execute a failover the VMs receive new IPs as expected. 70% of the VMs will have the IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway and Primary/Secondary DNS populated for the IPV4 on the NIC.The other 30% will only have the IP, Subnet Mask and Gateway populated. The DNS settings are left empty. It is always the same VMs that have the issue. We have done a ton of troubleshooting so I can’t list everything that we have tried. Is anyone else having this same issue? If so, is the solution to just use custom scripts and deal with the issue?

2 node down in 3 node cluster

What would happen if my 3 nodes cluster suddenly lose the 2 nodes. Can i still retrieve my data? The 2 node goes into phoenix.
