Tenaris Announces 2024 Third Quarter Results: 🚀 Sales at 2.9 USD Bn, affected by lower prices in the Americas and lower demand in the USA, Mexico and Saudi Arabia as well as lower line pipe shipments in Argentina.  🚀 EBITDA at 688 USD Mn (23.6% over sales). Margins were relatively resilient with our EBITDA margin falling 1.1% quarter on quarter on a comparable basis . 🚀 Free Cash Flow amounted to 373 USD Mn and, after spending 182 USD Mn on share buybacks, our positive net cash position amounted to 4 USD Bn at Sep 30th. 🚀 Net Income at 459 USD Mn, recovered after the extraordinary provisions recorded by Tenaris and its associate company Ternium in the last quarter. 💲 Our board of directors approved the payment of an interim dividend of 0.27 USD per share (0.54 USD per ADS), or approximately 300 USD Mn. 💵 Tenaris’s Board of Directors approved a 700 USD Mn follow-on share buyback program under the authority granted by the annual general meeting of shareholders held on June 2, 2020. The decision and opportunity of launching this follow-on buyback program is driven by the Company’s significant cash flow generation and strong balance sheet. 📈 Oil prices appear relatively stable and support industry investment despite uncertainty about Asian demand growth and geopolitical tensions. 📊 The decline in OCTG prices in North America that we have seen over the past two years has now come to an end as drilling activity has stabilized and the level of US OCTG imports has come down. 🌎 The new government in Mexico is implementing its energy policy, drilling activity in the near term is subdued, while next year we expect that it will recover. In Argentina, the economic environment is improving, which should support investment in pipeline infrastructure and drilling activity in the Vaca Muerta shale. 📶 In the Middle East, while gas drilling activity remains at a stable level, we see some reduction in oil activity and rationalization of inventories, including pipes, to protect cash flow. 🔜 In the fourth quarter, our sales and EBITDA will be lower than the third quarter, affected by lower sales in Mexico and Saudi Arabia and the delayed impact of OCTG pricing in the Americas. Overall, our 2024 second half results will be in line with our investor day guidance in September. Going into 2025, we expect our sales and EBITDA to recover with an increase in shipments in North America and the Middle East and a rebound in OCTG prices in North America.

We keep on advancing our decarbonization strategy!  The team at TenarisTuboCaribe, our manufacturing plant in Cartagena, Colombia, recently installed an electric induction coil, to replace a natural gas fired furnace in the upsetting line, which increases the diameter and thickness of pipe ends. The new equipment shortens the heating time of pipes from five minutes to just 20 seconds, so the production line could reduce carbon dioxide emissions between 2,500 to 6,000 tons CO2 per year, depending on the production level. TenarisTuboCaribe also has plans to install solar panels to generate renewable electricity for part of the facility’s energy consumption. Tenaris Announces 2024 First Quarter Results: 🚀 Sales at 3.4 USD Bn,  in line with our results for the fourth quarter of last year despite lower OCTG prices in the Americas.  🚀 EBITDA at 987 USD Mn, increased 1% vs previous quarter. 🚀 Free Cash Flow amounted to 715 USD Mn. After spending 311 USD Mn on share buybacks, our positive net cash position increased to 3.9 USD Bn at March 31, 2024. 🚀 Net Income at 750 USD Mn, decreased 35% vs 4Q 2023, does not include any extraordinary effects this quarter. 🌎 Demand for oil and gas continues to grow to meet the needs of developing countries and secure affordable energy during the energy transition. 📈 Although oil prices have risen, there has been no pick up in drilling activity in the USA so far this year and in North America it remains below last year’s level. At the same time, OCTG imports increased which is delaying price stabilization. 📊 In the rest of the world, offshore projects are proceeding in line with our expectations and demand in the Middle East remains at a good level. In Latin America, however, political and economic volatility is affecting activity. 🔜 For the second quarter, as anticipated, our sales and margins will be lower than the first quarter reflecting the ongoing decline in OCTG prices in the Americas. In the third quarter, we will have stoppages at many of our mills, including at our Siderca steel shop where we will install a new furnace that will improve our environmental footprint, and this will lead to a further decline in sales and margins in the quarter.
