Danny Vera

Singing about timeless subjects like life, love, and loss, chart-topping Dutch musician Danny Vera is known for a mix of vintage rock, Americana, and a kinship with the classic 1970s singer/songwriters. Although his 2003 solo debut, For the Light in Your Eyes, was a major-label release and he went on to lead a TV house band in the Netherlands, he didn't break into the Dutch Top Ten until the release of his sixth LP, 2016’s The Outsider. With echoes of Harry Nilsson at his most earnest, Vera’s first bona fide hit single, “Roller Coaster,” saw release in 2019. The song catapulted him to the top of the Dutch album chart for 2020’s The New Now, the 2022 EP The New Black and White, Pt. 5, and the 2023's DNA. The double concert album Live in Amsterdam arrived in 2025.
