Naveed has long been captivated by entrepreneurship and the opportunity to use enterprise as a vehicle for innovation. After graduating from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, he joined PJT Partners as an investment banker. During his tenure, he was drawn to the intricate dance of models and frameworks, applying them to solve complex transaction scenarios and guide clients toward optimal strategies, but it was the projects involving technology-driven entrepreneurs that he was most passionate about.
Eager to delve deeper into the world of software startups and entrepreneurship, he joined a venture-backed startup, Ribbon Health, serving on the Strategy & Operations team and later taking on the role of Product Manager, overseeing core provider data and leading a team of data scientists and engineers. “I love the process of building exceptional products that unlock new capabilities and catalyze change,” said Naveed. His unique blend of experience, ranging from advising clients on financial strategy in his investment banking days to hands-on operational roles at Ribbon Health, make him an invaluable partner to entrepreneurs.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Naveed’s upbringing as the child of Iranian immigrants profoundly influenced his values. “Witnessing my parents’ dedication to building a new life outside their home country instilled in me a strong work ethic and plenty of perspective,” he said. Beyond his professional pursuits, he finds joy in soccer, skiing, reading (particularly fiction), and exploring new cultures through travel and food. He’s an advocate for open-mindedness and a self-described lifelong learner.
