Charlotte Van Reyk is a leader on Lightspeed’s Global Platform team, where she spearheads strategic relationships with the firm’s most visionary founders and influential technologists across the globe. In her role, Charlotte ensures that Lightspeed’s network, expertise, and resources are fully leveraged to accelerate innovation and scale transformative companies. She also leads the Europe Platform, where she drives the firm’s commitment to European founders, delivering Lightspeed’s extensive platform to founders across the continent.

Charlotte’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2008 when she founded her own company. Her move to Silicon Valley in 2018 reignited her fascination with technology and venture, where she engaged with top founders and investors, eventually fueling her transition from Big Tech to venture capital.

Before joining Lightspeed in 2023, Charlotte spent eight years at Google, leading global executive engagement, where she worked directly with the leadership teams of Google and Alphabet. She also founded Curo, an early-stage lifestyle brand supporting entrepreneurs worldwide. Across both roles, Charlotte established herself as a strategic leader who cultivates innovation and community at scale.

Charlotte holds a law degree and began her career at Deloitte. She currently resides in the UK with her husband and two children.
