我非常高兴能与新西兰满活力的华人社区共同庆祝蛇年的到来。

春节是一今独特而重要的时刻, 我们一起回顾过去, 与亲朋好友团聚，并以满怀希望和明确目标迎接新的开始。

Happy Year of the Snake.

It is wonderful to celebrate the start of the Year of the Snake with New Zealand's vibrant Chinese community.

Chinese New Year is a special time to reflect, connect with loved ones, and embrace new beginnings with hope and purpose.

The Year of the Snake symbolises wisdom, resilience, and transformation - qualities that inspire us as we face challenges and look for opportunities to grow together. These values are a reminder of the strength we gain by working together to build thriving communities and a brighter future for all New Zealanders.

During this Year of the Snake, our Government remains steadfast in its mission to get New Zealand back on track—restoring law and order, rebuilding the economy, and delivering better public services for all. As we move into 2025, these priorities will continue to guide our work.

Thank you to the Chinese community for your continued contributions. Your contributions to business, cultural heritage, and community leadership are an integral part of what makes our nation so rich and diverse. Whether you are new to New Zealand or have generations of history here, your dedication and spirit are deeply appreciated.
