    Polio is an incurable disease that paralyses children’s bodies. Recently children in Syria began to be paralyzed by polio & due to the influx of millions of Syrian refugees; we had to stop it from getting into Lebanon! To firewall Lebanon against polio, UNICEF planned a National Immunization Campaign to vaccinate every child under five with OPV.     Polio is an incurable disease that paralyses children’s bodies. Recently children in Syria began to be paralyzed by polio & due to the influx of millions of Syrian refugees; we had to stop it from getting into Lebanon! To firewall Lebanon against polio, UNICEF planned a National Immunization Campaign to vaccinate every child under five with OPV. Eradicated from Lebanon over the past 15 years, Polio was forgotten along with its terrible effects. This is why 75% of Lebanese were unwilling to participate in the campaign. We needed to change that perception fast and we needed to partner with the only Power that could help us protect the country: Mothers! We reached out to them as main stakeholder and built them into true advocates actively contributing in the country protection. We partnered with the Ministry of Public Health encouraging mothers to take control of their children’s health by vaccinating them. We also collaborated with UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador Lebanese star Nancy Ajram –also a mother, to help us raise awareness around Polio and ask mothers to vaccinate their children like she did. The campaign was supported by an informative website, on ground activations, documentaries & field reports, social engagements all headed by a strategic media relation approach reaching influencers and opinion leaders to communicate the vaccination call for action. Drop by drop UNICEF vaccinated over 1 million children in Lebanon exceeding the initial target of 550,000 children making the eradication campaign a huge success and Lebanon safe from Polio!

  • ABC Designed and Signed | Branded entertainment

    As part of its CSR program, leading Lebanese retailer ABC started 2013 with “Designed and Signed”. The campaign brought together a group of 12 Lebanese famous designers to dress-up ABC triangle (logo) whilst raising vital funds for a good cause. Fusing fashion and art as the essential reflection behind ‘Designed and Signed’ aimed to reinforce ABC’s promise to Lebanese designers and the company’s CSR partners. 12 Designs campaigns took place throughout the year along with ABC’s 2013 calendar of…

    As part of its CSR program, leading Lebanese retailer ABC started 2013 with “Designed and Signed”. The campaign brought together a group of 12 Lebanese famous designers to dress-up ABC triangle (logo) whilst raising vital funds for a good cause. Fusing fashion and art as the essential reflection behind ‘Designed and Signed’ aimed to reinforce ABC’s promise to Lebanese designers and the company’s CSR partners. 12 Designs campaigns took place throughout the year along with ABC’s 2013 calendar of events (Mother’s Day, Sales Season, Christmas, etc). The ‘Designed and Signed’ unique venture was set to run over one year, at the end of which all designers’ creations were exhibited at ABC mall for a period of 10 days for all the visitors to see. At the end of the campaign, ABC announced the results of the auction which raised 60 million Lebanese Pounds.

    Due to limited traffic regulations in Lebanon, people and particularly the youth, often tend to drink and drive. In 2012 alone, 11,000 car accidents have been reported due to drunk driving. To date, there is still no abiding law enforcement mechanism to control drunk driving, which leads to deadly accidents and an increase in the number of causalities every year. Nissan with its new line of cars for the young generations stepped in to position its new brands, Juke & Sentra, as cars that care…

    Due to limited traffic regulations in Lebanon, people and particularly the youth, often tend to drink and drive. In 2012 alone, 11,000 car accidents have been reported due to drunk driving. To date, there is still no abiding law enforcement mechanism to control drunk driving, which leads to deadly accidents and an increase in the number of causalities every year. Nissan with its new line of cars for the young generations stepped in to position its new brands, Juke & Sentra, as cars that care about the safety of the youth. Nissan targeted a wide range of potential new customers by engaging with them on a one-to-one activation in their favorite hangout zones. The target audience of the campaign were young drivers that party during the weekends, and tend to drive back home under the influence of alcohol. “Suggest an Arrest” initiative came in line with RYMCO’s corporate social responsibility program and commitment to give back to the community by helping reduce youth mortality rate in Lebanon caused by car accidents. It is also part of Nissan’s “Hello Safety Campaign”, a global traffic safety movement designed to improve road safety through the prevention of driving under influence, while striving to design and engineer safer vehicles by enhancing safety technologies and features. The campaign was launched on 2 March 2013 and ran over a period of 1 month
