You can always start small. This relates to almost everything we do. Let's talk... The management of our finances is sometimes a challenge to many, especially on savings. We always want to save and there's a nerve in us that always compels us to do it, however we may fall short at even starting the journey. The journey of a thousand miles starts with that one step, and it's no different with savings. That 50, 200, 1000 that you have, however small it may seem just put it aside as part of your savings. You can always start small and progress as time goes by. Picture this: Personally I resumed my savings journey in the last quarter of 2024 and my first amount was 100 shillings, by the time 2024 came to an end, my savings were accruing an interest of between 16%-18% pa. This is far better for anyone who is just starting out. ✅At Futura Consultancy, one of our key missions is to embrace the savings culture and impart it to the younger generations from a young age. Most of us love to share our life, our wins (and even our losses). But remember, not everyone celebrates your success... Quite true, some will envy. Some might even cast their "evil eye". Took me a while to grasp this. Because… Not all compliments are genuine… And not all concerns are sincere… Every praise isn't always out of admiration… I used to be an open book. Sharing almost every aspect of my life… Dreams, plans, small wins, conversations I had… And what did I get in return? Far too many setbacks, negativity, and 'unexplained' obstacles… Until I learned about the "evil eye". …Something we often tend to ignore. Something we usually dismiss as baseless… But I learned the hard way, it's REAL. Something to take note of. I began to be discreet. I stopped sharing everything. Not because I became selfish... But because I realized… Protection matters… Privacy is powerful… Discretion is wisdom… Now, I'm not saying you should bottle everything up. Or mistrust everyone around… But here's my simple advice: Don't make your life an open theatre… Nor your plans, a public announcement… And your achievements, not always a grand display… After all, Preserving the sanctity of your private life can guard you from unexpected hurdles… Remember, it's not about hiding. It's about protecting your peace, your journey, your growth. A LESS inclination to share, can result in MORE progress… More peace... More growth... More real happiness... Because guess what... Your path does NOT require an audience... Your growth does NOT require approval… And your wins do NOT require applause… Everything doesn't need to be shared. So when you're rejoicing your next victory, remember… Not all eyes are gleaming for you… Not all ears are eager to applaud you… Beware of the “evil eye”. Keep things to yourself. Cherish your dreams. Guard your wins. Write down YOUR rules, and live by them... Privacy is power… Discretion is wisdom… Protection is your shield… Question time (answer any of the following questions - that are close to your heart - in the comments) 1) How do you handle your privacy in a world that thrives on oversharing? 2) Who are YOUR chosen few you trust implicitly? 3) Do you believe in the "evil eye"? Put your money where your mouth is and clients will come running after you. Instead of looking at you as a service provider, they will look at you as their mentor/someone they look up to. And when that happens, you'll have to tell people away because of the huge number of clients you'll have. How can you do it? Let's assume you're a copywriter for coaches and consultants. What do these people want? ✅ More sales ✅ More eyeballs ✅ More leads ✅ More authority Now, if someone walks up to them with all the things they want, will these coaches/consultants want to know more and see how it's done? YES. So, do that. 👉 Build your personal brand. 👉 Grow it big. 👉 Get eyeballs for yourself. 👉 Get leads and sales for yourself. And watch clients pour in. The best part is that you'll become FREE in the process and might not even need to sell your service to begin with.
