Hi Riyadth,
Yes the original 4 were air knight, earth priest, fire rogue and water mage so it would be fun to make an adventure with the other three lol. Though the elite people were planned to be different people from these three.
And in order to have the option to side with Brookhaven without romancing Deita is to have very low villain points. If you side against the crown decisions, have sympathy for prisoners and forest bandits, talk with Deita in the tower daily, and don't return romantic advances, you should be able to convince Lor to include you in Deita's plans to side with Brookhaven.
Hi Riyadth,
I'm glad you gave gacha date a try. I hope you liked it!
To be honest, I can't pick any favorites as their creator, they are kind of like my children that I care for equally. Once I start working on a particular character route, they become my favorite in that moment. I think my editor did say that I made less grammar mistakes when I was writing Jeth, but maybe I was extra careful when writing him, because he never lies outright but misdirects through omission or purposeful implications, so I have to be extra intentional when I choose his words. I love Deita's curls and ruffles in her outfit, though they are extra time consuming to draw. I probably personally relate to Beileph's awkwardness the most. And Ashur is the easiest to write because he just rambles on without filter LOL and the chaos and comedy just write themselves.
I don't think I ended up cutting anything out from my original plans as I usually scale small and end up adding more as I go along. I did have in the back of my mind to maybe make another game with an elite air knight, earth priest and fire rogue (I do have character ideas for these taking place in Capetown with the Southern Division) but I don't know at this time if I will make that game or not. Thank you for all your questions and interest in my works!
As far as getting kidnapped lol-
1. Side with Brookhaven in the war
2. Don't romance anyone
3. Stay as the Transient One
Hi lotsandlotoflove,
Thank you for the inquiry. Unfortunately, this project was a bit too ambitious for me and mechanics and underlaying code are a bit of mess. The puzzles and other mechanics were wonky, and I think I'd have to rebuild it from the ground zero. I learned a lot from some of these early demos to avoid certain pitfalls and build towards sustainability in the future. And in hindsight, I think I'm not too good at designing hidden object logic puzzles, so I probably won't be revisiting this game if I'm completely honest. Thanks again for asking though, sorry about this!
Hi MidnightVespers,
Wow I'm really flattered and honored that you went through the trouble of making an account to share your thoughts with me. I'm really so happy that you took such an interest in my stories and characters that you played through all of Jeth's content. From what feedback I've been able to recieve, he tends to leave an impression whether it's for good or for bad LOL. I think that is what is most important to Jeth, since he's so obsessed with the TO, he would choose to be loved or hated so long as he's not ignored or forgotten. If he can't monopolize the the TO, he at least wants to live rent free in their head. He would be quite delighted to be called a brain amoeba XD? Thank you for taking such good care of him and I hope he calms down enough to let you sleep. Best wishes and again, I really appreciate you taking the time to comment <3
Hi Riyadth,
Ah! Thank you so much for trying my games and I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed ADW. *Potential Spoilers*
This is a 'cursed' timeline and the endings are all bittersweet at best, with some endings being very bitter. Siding with Brookhaven will keeps the most characters alive, but I wouldn't say the Crown is cool with the TO's decisions. And siding with the Crown is necessary to get the romance endings with Mikaylis or Jeth. The 'happiest' endings are probably returning home as the gods suggest. There is an ending guide if you are interested.
If you are looking for fluffy, happy endings, (with Jeth or Ashur in particular) I suggest giving Gacha Date a Try if you haven't already. Thank you again for taking good care of the ADW characters <3 Best wishes - Jen
Hi Riyadth,
Sorry you are having trouble with the Hydra Boss. After you encounter the Hydra for the first time by finding all the clues and running into it at southeast corner of the lower level, if you don't defeat it, you can run into again as a random encounter any where on the the lower level floor as many times as necessary to defeat it. It will not regain above 10HP between battles. I also attached this map to help. Let me know if you still have questions and thanks for trying my game!
Best wishes,
Jen
Hi Quillerrink, if you ended up missing out on Ruwin the first time, you would get a quest later on in chapter 3 to visit the dungeons and subdue him and get him to join you then. Have him already in your party just gives you access to extra manpower and some extra lines in chapter 2 mission. Basicallyl the main 6 romanceable elite characters are mandatory to join you at some point. the other elites will join depending on your alliance/route late in the game around chapter 9. Hope that helps!
Hi ZaCk:3333,
Welcome back! And I'm so glad that you liked the demo so far! I did try to improve upon many of the systems I created in ADW and I think the exploration map and conversations are a lot smoother this time around. Thank you for your patience with the combat system, I know it's very strange at first but I think it's fun once you get comfortable with it. The tutorial might be able to use some more refinement, I'll keep thinking about it but it might also just take a little practice since it's pretty unique system. Thank you for all your thoughts with the character impressions so far, too. That was really fun to read. I didn't expect you to like Orwen so much haha! I guess his actions to campaign for the MC speaks louder than his very harsh words. Thank you again so very, very much for help with play testing. I really think it helped tremendously! When I look back at my earlier draft, it seems incomprehensible in comparison. Ah this is going to be so much fun, so I hope you end up enjoying getting to know this new cast of characters too.
Best wishes,
Jen
Hi Yeonjunney! Thank you for taking the time to share a bit of your thoughts with me. I'm glad that you were satisfied with Ruwin's solo ending, as I did try to take my time with all of them to care for it properly. Maybe the crafting system is a bit controversial but I'm glad you had fun with the collecting aspect. The menus were definitely clunky, so I hope to improve my menu systems in my next game. Ruwin's VA is coming back to voice Laurent in ExG so I hope to see you there! Best wishes and thanks again for taking part in this adventure.
Hi TiredFio,
I'm so happy that you enjoyed the main game and getting to know the characters from both sides of the war. Even though there is combat and exploration, my focus on the game is really about building relationships with the characters so I feel very glad reading your comment that my efforts seemed to have reached you.
And it seems Ashur really did a good job advocating for the Old Ones in the end. TBH I wasn't sure how many people would try that route as opposed to siding with the gods. Also wasn't sure how many people would explore the friendship routes, so I'm glad you enjoyed exploring these too. Thank you so much for taking the time to try my game, share your feedback and give me warm wishes! I wish the best for you as well! <3
Hi TiredFio, thank you for trying out my game and I'm glad you liked the characters! Here's a list of the endings, though I will say many of them are variations. The main three routes are romancing Jeth (going home, reborn, staying as the TO), Mikaylis (going home, reborn, staying as the TO), Deita (going home, reborn, staying as the TO). Also I hope you give the main game a chance~ Best wishes!
Hi spiritofdragons!
Firstly, thank you for playing ADW and I'm glad to hear you are enjoying it so far! I investigated your issue and yes, air mage ring is bugged! I'll patch it in the next small update, but actually there's currently no use for air mage rings so I'm sorry for your trouble. Earth Rogue ring, however, is useful for maxing the friendship bond with Katnir and unlocking his ultimate. I combed over it and couldn't find any error, along with crafting it for myself. Please double check your inventory for the heart of earth rogue, bit of earth rogue, and crafting fee of 50 gold. Also please check your game version is 2.X . I'm sorry for the issue! Please let me know more issues if it persists. T_T
