#Remixente is a physical installation that continuously generates and displays new versions of itself using a hacked MidJourney API. Now, Remixente is also available online, allowing any user to sign up for free and create new remixes of the installation. All the remixes generated on the Remixente web app are easy to download by simply tapping on them (or right click on desktop) and I approve all of them as part of this infinite artwork. All the generated remixes will become part of a new upcoming artwork. NOTE: After pushing the “Remix Ente” button wait a couple of minutes for the pictures generation, it’s Midjourney time in fast mode for generating and upscaling. #concpetart #aiart

A 45-word prompt yielding the value of a high-quality 10-second video. Clearly, Yann LeCun and his team are working relentlessly on all fronts. Think about it (and this is the crazy part), if you focus on the acceleration of the process: 1. Concept & development of a storyboard 2. Video shooting (travel, camera, etc.) 3. 3D modeling, texture, rigging, animation of the Koala 4. Lighting of the scene 5. Post-production This kind of #AI model has the potential to reduce costs from 5k€-10k€ to just a few € and cut production time from 10-20 days to mere seconds. Don't be a doomer with "it's the end of filmmaking." No, it's an evolution. Where expert filmmakers are able to produce in months, they will be able to do it in weeks, even days. Artificial Intelligence is a multiplicative factor of your skills. As a creator, marketing/com department, or producer, imagination and staging skills are your only limit. 🗺️ Design Patterns For Map Interfaces (https://lnkd.in/eCv4Ykws), a growing repository of design patterns for designing better maps UX, with filters, markers, pop-ups, focal points, kiosk maps, layout considerations, interaction design patterns, heat maps and flow maps, mobile devices, route directions — along with common mistakes and how to avoid them. Neatly put together by Michael Gaigg. What a goldmine! 🤯 Designing maps is seemingly obvious, but it’s remarkably challenging. The number of zooming levels matter, so is the level of detail on each, and often users get utterly frustrated by how slow and frustrating UX feels — from tapping on tiny dots and labels to detail views blocking too much space on the map. Navigating maps can also be painfully slow, so instead of showing the map by default, we could ask users to specify their intent, set filters or jump to a relevant selection via autocomplete — and give them best suggestions and recommendations based on input. That would be the default view, with an option to switch to the map view when necessary. It would work for a ticket selection and a location finder, but wouldn’t work for dashboards, data visualization or timelines as showing the full picture on the entire map is often the point of interactions there. There we could have a selection of layers that would allow people to explore the content faster. And: when in doubt, consider adding a switcher between layers and an autocomplete search for map interfaces. While navigating maps is inherently slow, exploring data from a map is fast. But it’s significantly faster once you add filters, search or multi-combobox to it. More often than not, it’s worth the effort.
