Our goal was to replicate the functionalities of the Op-1 while adding some unique features to enhance the user experience. ✨ What’s new in Op-A? - Key and Mode selectors: We've added these features to allow users to customize their musical creations more precisely. - Effects, Synthesizers, and Keyboard: Just like the original Op-1, Op-A is packed with powerful tools for creating and manipulating sounds. - MIDI Keyboard Connectivity: You can connect a MIDI keyboard to Op-A, expanding your creative possibilities. - Plugin Integration: It’s possible to connect additional plugins and use the internal sounds for more advanced sound design. 💡 Thinking of trying out one of the Op-1’s features for free? 🚨 Fascinating AI paper alert: Luciano Floridi publishes "Hypersuasion - On AI’s Persuasive Power and How to Deal With It," and it's a must-read for everyone in AI. Quotes: "The relentless nature of AI’s hypersuasion, the magnitude of its scope, its availability, affordability, and degree of efficiency based on machine-generated content accurately tailored to individual users or consumers who spend increasing amounts of their lives onlife (both online and offline) in the infosphere overshadow its precursors, not only in terms of the depth of personalised influence but also for the potential scale of distribution and impact (Burtell and Woodside 2023). AI can and will be used, evermore commonly and successfully, to manipulate people’s views, preferences, choices, inclinations, likes and dislikes, hopes, and fears (...)" - "For the moment, one may be tempted to conclude that AI and, indeed, any persuasive technology is neutral (perhaps with the only exception of the erosion of autonomy, more on this presently). However, as I argued elsewhere (Floridi 2023), this would be a mistake. It is much better to interpret it as double-charged, in tension between evil and good uses. The forces pulling in the wrong direction may be as strong as those pulling in the right. 🤝 OpenAI and CDP (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti) have signed an agreement to promote artificial intelligence in Italian startups. 🇮🇹 The goal is to support the adoption of AI by innovative companies in the country. 💡 According to the agreement, OpenAI will invest in these companies through CDP Venture Capital. Italian startups will have access to OpenAI's advanced technologies and funding from US venture capitalists. 💰 The agreement aligns with CDP's plan to invest 1 billion euros in AI and cybersecurity over the next five years. Additionally, it follows a recent meeting between Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, which took place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Last week, two new AI image generators were launched: Imagen 3 by Google and Grok 2 by Elon Musk. But the real surprise was Flux! Created by Black Forest Labs, Flux has been hailed by many as the “mid-journey killer” and the next big replacement for Stable Diffusion, thanks to its ability to generate images so realistic they seem almost dangerous. And yes, it’s the model behind Grok’s images. Google DeepMind even published a paper this month on how generative AI can be abused, and surprisingly, the real danger isn’t in generating intimate images, but in impersonation. And Flux is particularly good at that. We created the attached photo with Flux, what do you think? Goodbye to 8-fingered hands generated by competitor models.

Sora is a state-of-the-art AI model developed by OpenAI that transforms text prompts into high-quality videos. It leverages a diffusion model to generate videos by starting with static noise and gradually refining it into coherent visual content⁹. History of Sora AI Sora was introduced in February 2024, following the success of OpenAI's DALL-E models. Named after the Japanese word for "sky," Sora symbolizes limitless creative potential.
