🌊 Forum AIC is organising a thematic session at the EUSAIR Annual Forum 2026 - and we'd love to see you there. On Tuesday 19 May, together with the Università degli Studi di Padova (UNIPD) / University of Padua and the Business & Innovation Center of SEEU (BIC), we bring "Green Public Procurement Driving Circular Economy in the Adriatic–Ionian Region" to the 11th EUSAIR Forum in Skopje, a 90-minute session developed within the GPP2ADRION project (Interreg IPA ADRION). 🌊 This morning we had a very concrete discussion on something we often take for granted: data. During the EUSAIR Workshop on the DO-AIR Data Observatory of the Adriatic and Ionian Region, we brought together colleagues from EUSAIR governance, institutions, universities and chambers of commerce to reflect on a simple question: how can we make data actually usable at macro-regional level? One thing clearly emerged. The issue is not only the lack of data, but the fact that it is often fragmented, not comparable, and spread across different sources. And without a shared framework, it is difficult to use it for policy, cooperation, or project development. This is exactly where DO-AIR is trying to make a difference. Not by creating new data, but by organising what already exists and making it readable over time. 📊 The presentation of the DO-AIR Report 2025 confirmed that the Adriatic-Ionian Macroregion is becoming more interconnected — but also highlighted persistent imbalances that require targeted action. 💬 The interactive session was probably the most valuable part. Participants clearly pointed to the need for: → better access to comparable data → stronger cooperation in data sharing → a closer link between data and concrete initiatives Because in the end, data only matters if it is used. And this is where the real challenge starts — turning data into something that supports: → policy decisions → project development → cooperation across the macro-region 👉 This requires a collective effort, but also continuity and the right conditions to make tools like DO-AIR grow over time. Success of the 15th Congress on Women's Entrepreneurship of the Adriatic and Ionian Area! 📍Today, the International Economic Fair in Mostar successfully hosted the 15th edition of the Congress on Women's Entrepreneurship of the Adriatic and Ionian Area — a flagship event organised by Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce (Forum AIC) in cooperation with the Privredna/Gospodarska komora Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine (Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina). 🌐From the opening at the International Economic Fair to the roundtable on best practices, the programme brought together policymakers, Chamber of Commerce leaders, women entrepreneurs and advocates from across the region — united by one question: what does it actually take to build an environment where women-led businesses can grow? ✅The answers came from many directions — institutional frameworks, cross-border networks, and the lived experiences of women who have built companies, created jobs, and led change in their communities. 🎉For the 15th consecutive year, Forum AIC is proud to have brought this community together, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening cooperation and fostering an enabling environment for women’s entrepreneurship across the Adriatic-Ionian region. 👏Thank you to all the speakers, institutional representatives and stakeholders who contributed to the success of this edition — both on stage and behind the scenes. Launched in December 2024 through the cooperation between Regione Marche - The Marche Region and the Camera di Commercio delle Marche (Chamber of Commerce of the Marche Region), with the support of Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce and the scientific contribution of Università Politecnica delle Marche, DO-AIR aims to provide a shared data framework to support evidence-based policymaking and strengthen macro-regional cooperation.
