Every major economy is going to mandate AI clouds for government departments and sensitive industries to be on their soil. We were honoured to be invited by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, to join the UX4G event, "Powering Transformation Through UI/UX for Digital Governance." It was interesting to discuss the best practices and challenges in creating effective #UIUX for public-facing digital services with fellow industry leaders and stakeholders from the Government, Industry, Design, and Development sectors. Did you know that 70% of digital projects fail due to poor user experience? Creating great user experiences is a journey that requires patience, time, and overcoming various challenges, such as insufficient data, lack of user research, and poor information architecture. What did PW do differently? While others were targeting the top 5% of students, we at PW (PhysicsWallah) focused on catering to the remaining students of the socio-economic pyramid who also wanted high-quality, structured education at affordable rates. We designed a product with their experiences in mind, providing solutions for students who spend up to 6 hours on the platform daily and have limited internet data and primitive mobile phones. We knew we had to create something that handholds students at scale and is customized to improve their experience. This approach enabled us to build a product that serves the largest mega online -classroom in India, accommodating 40,000 to 1 lakh students at a time per class. At Physics Wallah, we are and will continue to constantly work on the feedback of our students to make their learning experience seamless. NIRF Higher Ed Summit: Coimbatore The Government of India introduced the NIRF ranking for educational institutions in 2016. Instituitions are ranked based on 5 categories Teaching learning and resources (TLR), Research, professional practice and collaborative performance (RPC), Graduation outcome (GO), Outreach and inclusivity (OI), Perception (PR).
