In his recent visit to India NVIDIA Founder/CEO Jensen Huang spoke about, Super Humans (Emoloyees) and agents. Hearing his speech in Mumbai, I think the future of employee pyramid organization would look like this - Section 1 at the top : Super Humans/Employees: Who will use AI Agents to improve the efficiency and quality of their outcome. The use of these trained agents will give head start to these Super Employees in their function in achieving and/or fulfilling their tasks much faster   Section 2 in the middle : AI Agents: AI Companies like NVIDIA and their ecosystem partners will flood the market with such agents , and the cost of these agents will only go down with time and scale as more and more functions and companies will adopt them in their businesses   Section 3 at the bottom : Employees (Traditional): who will see the rise of these super humans (employees). These employees will (have to) migrate to Super Humans (employees) using agents’ day today.   I believe children who are still under 16, will all (mostly) be super humans (employees), knowing how to use agents by default without a need to train them in their chosen field   This Pyramid will be inverted soon, with The great migration on the horizon, your opportunity to embrace and participate in this migration is now!

Every major economy is going to mandate AI clouds for government departments and sensitive industries to be on their soil. Bridging the AI Divide: A Path Forward for India and Asia In an era where artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer just a buzzword but a tangible driver of change, we stand at a crossroads. As Henry Wang insightfully remarked, "AI follows the path of humans, leaving humans no path to go. AI will make those who control it extremely wealthy, make the rich who do not control it poor, and make the poor even poorer." This profound statement echoes the concerns of many about the burgeoning gap between the 'haves' and the 'have-nots' in the context of AI. The rapid advancement and integration of AI into various sectors have the potential to significantly widen this gap, especially in diverse and populous regions like India and Asia. The digital divide, already a challenge, could deepen, leaving swathes of the population at a disadvantage, unable to reap the benefits of AI-driven growth. However, this does not have to be our inevitable future. As leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders in this digital age, we have the power and responsibility to steer the course towards a more inclusive AI future. 🚀 OpenAI's Project Strawberry: A New Era for AI Thinking 🌱 This is an exciting and insightful read that offers a great breakdown of what might be unfolding.... OpenAI's Project Strawberry, initially known as Project Q (Q-star), is shaping up to be a game-changer in AI. Unlike the current fast-responding models like ChatGPT, Strawberry is designed to take its time with responses, simulating more human like reasoning. It could be a breakthrough for reducing incorrect answers and providing deeper, more thoughtful responses in fields like mathematics and programming.  For me this is the cool part, as humans if we are asked a question, we don't generally just spit out the first thing that comes into our heads (maybe some do), we take our time, think about the answer, maybe research etc, this is what Strawberry will provide. I can imagine a future where GPT users can toggle between “quick-thought” for rapid responses or “slow-thought” (Strawberry) for more complex, reasoned answers based on the task at hand. This would maintain user experience but provide depth. One of the most significant aspects is the use of Strawberry to create new synthetic data. With much of the available online data already used, OpenAI is generating large amounts of high-quality synthetic data to train future AI models. This approach will lay the foundation for Project Orion (GPT5 maybe), the next-level AI model that’s expected to push innovation even further and take on the competition in unprecedented ways. GPT-5/Orion update! A brief update on this post, there are more signs that Project Orion is inching closer to release! I previously hinted at Strawberry/Q-Star now known as o1 (lots of code names), was an intermediate model (with a long term purpose), it is the generating lots of synthetic data to support the training of OpenAI's next frontier model (Project Orion). In a cryptic tweet, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, has sparked major anticipation within the AI community by teasing the upcoming release of their next model - Orion. 🧠✨ Following the ground breaking success of GPT-3 and 4, this new AI model, Orion, is expected to represent a significant leap forward in capabilities. While details are still under wraps, experts believe Orion will push the boundaries of what AI can achieve across various industries. With speculation running high, many are expecting Orion to be unveiled by the end of the year. If this is the case, the acceleration of AI progress in the last 12 months would be crazy. I recently had a fascinating discussion on 3.0 TV, a channel at the forefront of Web3 journalism in India. We dove into the burgeoning Web3 gaming sector in India, a field that's just as thrilling as it is complex. India, with its rich gaming culture and a robust community of Web3 developers and startups, stands on the brink of becoming a leader in this innovative industry. The potential benefits are vast, promising opportunities for individuals and entities across all city tiers. However, we're facing some significant regulatory headwinds. Recent GST amendments, which took effect on October 1, 2023, have thrown us some serious curveballs. A striking example is Gameskraft, which was hit with a tax demand for INR 21,000 crores on funds held in trust for its users. These developments have sparked around 30 writ petitions across 11 high courts, all now escalated to the Supreme Court. This has created a precarious wait-and-see situation, where the pace at which the world moves won't slow down for us to sort our internal issues. The danger of losing our early mover advantage is real and pressing. What's clear is the urgent need for a robust, tailored regulatory framework that can nurture and not stifle growth in Web3 gaming. We can learn a lot from international models like Malta's, Singapore, Switzerland, amongst others, which might provide some valuable insights. A synchronized regulatory regime is crucial to disincentivize regulatory arbitrage seeking. Moreover, there is an immediate need for clarity on how GST impacts business models in the online gaming sector to prevent these models from being undermined. The risks of inaction are significant. Without the right regulatory support, we risk seeing Indian Web3 gaming companies relocate abroad, leading to brain drain and loss of valuable intellectual property. The financial implications are massive too—excessive demands could potentially drive this nascent industry out of India, and the government might not even achieve its revenue targets. Web3 games are likely to be the forerunners of what we will come to know as the metaverse, representing digital environments where economic and social dynamics play out in real-time, always-on virtual worlds. As with any emerging industry, early adopters set the standards and lead innovations. India has the potential to leverage its Web3 capabilities to influence various sectors globally, pioneering future business models. But this can't be done in isolation—the industry needs proactive policy engagement to flourish and achieve global leadership. Reflecting on all this, it's clear that India shouldn't chase short-term financial gains at the expense of stifling a promising industry. Thoughtful, supportive regulations could help cultivate a thriving Web3 gaming ecosystem within the country. Gaming is notoriously hard for vendors to break into - so why did Modulate choose to start our journey there? It really comes down to two reasons: 1. Strategically, gaming is *hard mode.* There are few challenges in conversational understanding tougher than distinguishing between desirable banter and trash talk vs genuine harm. So by starting here - and continuing to keep a top priority of solve these problems incredibly well for top brands like Call of Duty and Rec Room - we've been able to prove to the world that our AI is truly built different. 2. Even more fundamentally, though, it comes down to passion. We're a team of gamers who have all personally experienced the incredible moments and connections gaming can bring - as well as with the ways games can be co-opted by bad actors to ruin that experience. There are lots of other applications that we're excited to pursue and unlock, but few things that can create as much personal joy as helping the games we all love to offer an even richer experience.
