Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Equity + Salary After 4 Months) Location: Remote About Haeldi: Haeldi is a pre-seed stage healthcare startup with a bold mission to revolutionize healthcare in India by providing 'Convenient Care Anywhere.' We are building an integrated platform powered by ABDM (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission) technologies, combining telehealth, a healthcare directory, and a healthcare marketplace. Our MVP includes foundational WhatsApp integration, aiming to make healthcare accessible, affordable, and efficient. Our website is 75% complete and currently undergoing ABDM integration. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer who can join us to spearhead and expedite the development process. The Opportunity: This role is perfect for someone who believes in our mission, understands the massive Total Addressable Market (TAM) of healthcare in India, and is excited about the magnitude of our business vision. While we cannot offer an immediate salary, we are offering equity ownership and a competitive salary after 4 months of joining. Your Role: As a Full Stack Developer, you will work closely with our CTO to: Lead the development of the Haeldi webapp, including features like telehealth, a healthcare directory, and a marketplace powered by ABDM integration. Expedite the integration process of ABDM technologies such as UHI, ABHA, and NHCX. Build and implement foundational WhatsApp integration as part of the MVP. Collaborate strategically on technology decisions, tools, and architecture. Ensure scalability, security, and performance of the web application.. Take ownership of technical challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with expertise in both front-end and back-end development. Proficiency in modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, and backend technologies such as Node.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails. Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL). Experience in API development (REST/GraphQL) and integration. Familiarity with ABDM technologies or willingness to learn and implement them. Experience with WhatsApp API integration is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in healthcare. An optimistic and entrepreneurial mindset aligned with Haeldi’s mission and vision. AI-powered blue-collar recruitment platform Vahan.ai has raised $10 Mn (INR 83.7 Cr) in a Series B funding round led by existing backer Khosla Ventures.  The round also saw participation from Y Combinator, Gaingels and Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma among others 👇 The latest round takes the startup’s cumulative funding to $18 Mn till date, including $8 Mn and an undisclosed amount raised in 2021 and 2019, respectively. Vahan seeks to use the fresh money to develop its AI recruitment technology, which will support eight major Indian languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Bangla and Gujarati. #NationalTechDay: India's AI Opportunity–Beyond the Headlines Happy #NationalTechDay! Today, we celebrate India's thriving tech sector, a space brimming with potential, particularly in #AI. At #Xpheno, our recent data sparked discussions about India's #AITalent pool. While the headlines might focus on the shortfall of talent, I believe a different perspective is necessary to gauge next steps. Before that, let's delve into the numbers: 👉 Total Accessible Talent: There are approximately 360k professionals in India with AI skills listed on their profiles and currently working within the Indian tech sector. 👉 Sufficient AI Expertise: However, when we examine this pool more closely, focusing on experience and expertise in core AI functionalities, the number shrinks considerably. This core group with the minimum required skills, exposure and experience stands at approximately 21k professionals. 👉 Core AI Engineering Talent: The most elite segment, the active pool of senior AI engineering talent with expertise in building core AI products and services, is significantly smaller, currently numbering around 2k professionals. The Upside While the raw numbers might suggest a gap, the data reveals a promising trajectory when we analyse what is going on with AI leadership in India. 👉 Leadership Growth: India's AI leadership talent pool is experiencing significant YoY growth (20%) and attracting global interest, accounting for a noteworthy 6% of the total global AI leadership pool. 👉 Dynamic Market: The high job shift rate (15%) within the AI leadership segment indicates a dynamic market with ample opportunities for internal mobility and career progression for those with foundational AI skills. A highly agile and ever-increasing AI leadership talent pool shows that business decision-makers around the globe are increasingly trusting India and its tech workforce to spearhead and drive impact for their AI projects.  What we have in front of us is thus an opportunity. Building the Future The data paints a clear picture: India has the potential to be a global AI leader. What next, then? I think we already know how we can unlock this potential: Invest in Foundational Skills: By strengthening core analytical and problem-solving skills across the workforce, we create a fertile ground for future AI experts to grow. Enterprise SaaS startup Everstage has raised $30 Mn (around INR 252 Cr) in a Series B funding round led by Eight Roads Ventures. The round also saw participation from existing investors — Elevation Capital and 3one4 Capital. The Chennai-based startup plans to use the fresh funds for product innovation and improving its in-house services for enhanced customer experience, said Siva Rajamani, cofounder and CEO of Everstage. Additionally, Everstage has also announced an INR 5 Cr employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) buyback programme to reward its early employees. While Everstage has 200 staffers on its payroll, it’s unclear how many of them would benefit from the ESOP buyback scheme. Founded in 2020 by Rajamani, a former Freshworks executive, and Vivek Suriyamoorthy, Everstage offers a platform that enables enterprises, and their sales teams, to keep track of how much they’re earning in commission.
