Thrilled that UTI Alternatives has secured the 2nd position in terms of number of deals done in the first 9 months of 2024! Since 2017, we at UTI Alternatives have invested in 42 transactions and achieved complete exit in 18 of those. But that tells a fraction of the story. We must have evaluated 1,000s of transactions to get to this milestone. Added to this, our transactions are truly private market - rarely have we participated in DCM syndicated investments or listed bonds. True private market investing requires intensive underwriting and due diligence bandwidth. But our real secret sauce is origination. I like to believe that the hunting instinct is part of our DNA. Let’s hope this time they get it right and use this as a stepping stone for a fresh beginning in #Mumbai A 24-acre real estate project in #AndheriWest would likely be the largest in the area, considering that most prominent residential developments in this locality are significantly smaller, typically spanning 1–7 acres. Given the dense urban environment and high land values in Andheri West, such a large-scale development could redefine the real estate landscape in the area. It would be unprecedented in terms of scope and the variety of residential, commercial, and possibly mixed-use spaces it might include.

Equity mutual fund inflows in India surged to an all-time high in May, driven by robust investor confidence and favorable market conditions. Here’s a quick breakdown of the key highlights: - Historic Surge: Equity mutual fund inflows skyrocketed 83.42% to Rs 34,697 crore, a new record. - Sustained Momentum: Positive inflows into open-ended equity funds continued for the 39th consecutive month. - New Milestone: Net inflows surpassed Rs 30,000 crore for the first time, breaking the previous record of Rs 28,463 crore from March 2022. - Sectoral Boost: Sectoral and thematic funds led the surge with net buying of Rs 19,213.43 crore. - Small & Mid Caps: Small-cap and mid-cap funds saw strong net inflows of Rs 2,724.67 crore and Rs 2,605.70 crore, respectively. - Large Cap Lull: Large-cap funds saw relatively modest net investments of Rs 663.09 crore. - SIP Growth: Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) rose to Rs 20,904 crore, up from Rs 20,371 crore in April. - Diverse Interests: Index funds and gold ETFs attracted net inflows of Rs 4,490.35 crore and Rs 827.43 crore, respectively.
