    A 7-member group project requiring the formation of an internationally diversified portfolio of equities and fixed income instruments based on a reference investment objective (Global Growth and Income) and in accordance with specific client objectives and constraints relating to return requirements, forecasted annual expenditures, time horizons and strategic asset allocations (Currency movements were also considered).

    A 7-member group project requiring the formation of an internationally diversified portfolio of equities and fixed income instruments based on a reference investment objective (Global Growth and Income) and in accordance with specific client objectives and constraints relating to return requirements, forecasted annual expenditures, time horizons and strategic asset allocations (Currency movements were also considered).

    The corpus was a notional $100 million, and the ultimate aim was to execute the entire portfolio management process from the IPS to portfolio construction (using a top-down or bottom-up approach) and stock selection to performance appraisal and re-balancing if necessary so that a cohesive 1500 word investment report could be put together.

    This was a Masters level module for which a Distinction was obtained.
