Our Chief Economist, Ms. Rajni Thakur, believes that Reserve Bank of India (RBI) keeping the repo rate unchanged at this point is a prudent policy choice. Ms. Thakur also highlighted that RBI's hawkish pause, even as the tariff situation continues to evolve, signals a relatively softer downside risk.
