This weekend, we kicked off MidwestCon's Future of Data Hackathon! With $42,000 in prizes on the line and 3,456 cans of Red Bull to fuel our 700 participants, these builders are on a mission to create a better, more equitable future of data. Although we still have a week for teams to develop their projects and refine their pitches, I've already seen some truly impressive work. Rob Richardson and I conceived this idea nine months ago, and I’m incredibly proud of the movement it has become. I am beyond thankful for the hackers who have made this event successful and my team who have brought this vision to life.
