If your target audience is in the U.S., would you follow them there? For Percepto, the answer was clear. With most of their customers based in the U.S., relocating the HQ was a strategic decision to build deeper connections with those people who live, breathe, and use autonomous drone tech on a daily basis. The move has brought some real advantages: → Easier access to customers and face-to-face meetings that speed up decisions. → The ability to hire local talent at every level, bringing valuable insights and experience. → Faster execution and a more focused, market-driven approach. And yes, relocating halfway around the world came with its own set of challenges, such as aligning teams across time zones, getting used to U.S. work culture, and keeping communication tight. As Ariel Avitan shared, “This new reality pushed us to implement new processes to stay effective. It was a learning curve, but the Percepto team adapted and came out the other side even stronger.” So, while the Percepto team may be farther away, at State of Mind Ventures (SOMV), we’ll stay closely connected and keep you updated on all their latest activities. Every in-person meeting is an opportunity to reconnect, hear what’s happening on the ground, and dig into their latest challenges and wins.
