It was a privilege to be part of their preparation day at Google for Startups Israel, where we witnessed incredible energy and determination. Maya Sela, SVP of Global Venture Capital at LeumiTech, moderated one of the panels with great entrepreneurs 𝗦𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗕. Shlomit Steinberg-Koch Yuval Brot Orit Golbari ,who shared their expertise in fundraising and gave invaluable advice to the next generation. Here are some key takeaways from the panel: ✅ 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱 - Focus on VC firms that specialize in your industry. If you're in fintech, for example, look for funds with a proven track record in that space. ✅ 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘁 - Make sure your product speaks to the U.S. market’s needs. Investors are all about understanding local relevance. ✅ 𝗥𝗲𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝘀 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 -  The market is vast, and a "no" today doesn’t mean "no" forever. Keep investors updated on your business progress because what was once a "no" could turn into an opportunity later on. 💡𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗖 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 🚀 Last week, we had the privilege of attending an inspiring panel at the Israel VC Forum, where 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗿𝗮𝗲𝗹𝗶 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 shared their insights. With 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, the discussion was truly remarkable. The 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 reinforced the forum’s 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 in shaping the industry’s future.
