FINN PARTNERS WAS BORN. After 11 years serving as co-CEO of a historic agency that carried my father’s name— and mine!—and after 30+ years of working at the firm, I wanted to build something different, bold, meaningful and amazing for clients, our colleagues and the community. "Amazing" was, and is, for me an important word. I imagined we could be "amazing" every day, knowing this is a goal not always achieved but always pursued. A place where talented people could gather and do big things for clients as well as make a difference to the communities important to us. WE LAUNCHED WITH A GROUP WHO SHARED A VISION. This was to be a "new" agency model, driven by a collaborative spirit. We asked, "Can we bind our 60-year legacy to the energy and speed of today’s hi-tech world?" We had $24 million in fees at our founding. Today, we have more than $85 million in fees, over 700 colleagues and 18 offices across three continents. Our Founding Managing Partners, highly respected colleagues who took the leap with me from our former agency, have been joined by the principals of other great agencies that became Finn Partner companies. So many other talented individuals are with us, too, intrigued by the idea of doing amazing things in an amazing workplace community. WE’VE MADE OUR MARK QUICKLY. Northwell Health and Nebraska Medicine also shared their patient success stories in partnership with Vibe. ✅ Look for real AI results AI discussions at #HIMSS25 focused on practical applications over hype. Tom Lawry challenged vendors to clearly define how AI creates value. Warris B. from Claimable shared this example – using AI, patients can draft appeal letters to their health plans in 20 minutes instead of two weeks. And Dr Zafar C. from Seattle Children's explained how adaptX’s AI tools helped anesthesia teams achieve the first-ever opioid-free surgery center and stop 3,900 metric tons of CO2 from entering the Earth’s atmosphere. ✅ Leave no one behind to achieve positive health outcomes #NCMedicaid and Sarasota Memorial Health Care System presented how their Unite Us platform and community outreach programs help thousands of high-risk Medicaid members while also saving #healthplans $85 per member, per month. Similarly, Sparta Community Hospital integrated SDOH capture into their TruBridge EHR and reengineered processes to achieve a 98% improvement in data compilation, with automated dashboards for SDOH action and reporting. Susan Gutjahr summed up the urgency in these community efforts: “In rural health, when we ask a social needs question, we must be able to act on it.” ✅Keep clinicians productive and happy Advancements in #ambientlistening and #voiceenabledclinicaldocumentation took the spotlight during the pre-conference AI summit and in the exhibit hall. This included announcements by Microsoft’s Dragon CoPilot, Zoom, Teledoc Health, Abridge, and more. Christopher Wickersham, CHCIO, AVP of Support Services at CereCore, also reiterated the need for strong clinical IT help desks to keep physicians happy and productive as EHRs embed these tools and higher levels of support are needed during his conversation with Jim Tate on The Tate Chronicles. ✅ Stay informed and connected during turbulent times Hal Wolf, CEO at HIMSS, reiterated what most attendees were thinking: the health sector is facing unprecedented pressure, including federal cuts for clinical research and Medicaid.
