עלינו
Beewise uses AI and Robotics to #savethebees at scale in order to feed the world. Our solution, the BeeHome™, remotely inspects and treats bees in real time, protecting them from the complex and interrelated set of challenges they face, including extreme weather, pests, disease, and shortages in skilled beekeeping labor. By using AI & robotics to remotely treat bees in real time, in the field, the BeeHome reduces annual colony losses to less than 10%, compared to 40% in traditional wooden hives.

We are proud to share Beewise’s third-annual Impact Report with you today! Check it out here: https://beewise.ag/impact. In 2024, the US experienced record-high colony loss rates, significantly intensifying crop shortages and disrupting entire agricultural ecosystems. This sharp rise in bee mortality underscores how urgent and essential our founding mission has become. In this report, we review our progress towards saving bees to secure the global food supply, our environmental footprint as a growing business, and what's next for our company and the industry. #savethebees #climatetech #impactreport #sustainability #agtech #beekeeping

The definition of an Oh S**t moment: "USDA research points to viruses spread by pesticide-resistant mites as culprit behind US biggest ever honeybee dieoffs" (62% of all bee colonies in 2024). In simple terms, Varroa, the most devastating mite in agriculture, has been contained over the years with dedicated in-hive pesticides. Varroa mites are becoming more pesticide-resistant over time, resulting in a 62% annual colony collapse. Case in point: Oh S**t moment. Find out how Beewise fights off Varroa without chemicals whatsoever at https://www.beewise.ag (credit goes to Bernardo for sharing this story) #Varroa #Pollination #SaveTheBees https://lnkd.in/dUAg2WrR
