Hi All, Happy to invite you to join our #5Eyes ventures syndicate on #Angellist. We are 3 former-founders who teamed up (after knowing each other for over a decade) to help Israeli early stage #startups break into the US market. We are heavily engaged with our portfolio companies to assist them in getting past the infamous "valley of death" between seed and A round. With 8 investments already made in our syndicate this year in a variety of verticals, we are constantly meeting new and exciting startups that we bring to the syndicate. Our syndicate accommodates #accredited investors who want to invest anywhere between $5K to $250K per company. If you are as excited as us about early stage startups and specifically those from Israel's startup nation, we'd be happy to have you join our syndicate. Guy Poreh, Shefa Rabin, Ohad Gliksman

Our partner Ohad Gliksman was part of a very interesting panel titled “finding the next unicorn”. Here is a brief summary of it by Eliran Ifrach
Global Information Systems Manager 🌍 | Business Systems ⚙️ | Oracle Applications 🏢 | Meetups Enthusiast 🤝
🚀 Finding the Next Unicorn: Key Insights from Early-Stage Investors Had the privilege of attending Finding the Next Unicorn, a live panel featuring top early-stage investors. The discussion covered what makes a startup investable, market trends, and how founders can position themselves for success. Here are my key Takeaways: ✔ Market Trends: Aggressive growth and larger funding rounds are becoming more common, especially in cybersecurity, where valuations remain high. More corporates are acquiring startups—just look at Wiz, which made two acquisitions last year. (Nofar Amikam, Glilot Capital) ✔ AI Boom, but…: There’s a flood of AI startups, but many lack a strong competitive advantage (MOAT). With development becoming easier, investors question whether the market pain is deep enough. (Ohad Gliksman, 5 Eyes) ✔ The Team Matters Most: A diverse, complementary founding team is the #1 predictor of success. Many startups fail due to co-founder conflicts—not a bad product. (Nofar) ✔ Fundraising Red Flags: 🔴 Founders who haven’t validated their idea with real decision-makers. The best founders conduct 40+ market validation conversations. 🔴 Founders who overwhelm investors with too much information too soon—investing is a relationship, not a transaction. (Ohad) ✔ Founder > Idea: Investors are drawn to founders with a compelling story, relevant background, and strong market fit—sometimes more than the idea itself. FOMO also plays a role in driving investments. (Renana Ashkenazi, Grove Ventures) ✔ Building Relationships Early: The best investors engage with founders before they start fundraising—creating trust and connecting with potential customers in advance. (Nofar) The panel also touched on resilience in the Israeli ecosystem despite recent challenges. While many startups now incorporate in Delaware, the entrepreneurial spirit and mutual support remain stronger than ever. Huge thanks to the panelists for their insights and to Guy Lachmann, Pearl Cohen, for moderating! What trends are you seeing in early-stage investing?
