“Orla was my line manager for over 4 years, within a dynamic and ever-changing work environment where we had a fairly free reign in terms of ideas and creativity, but also where budgets had to be justified and we worked very closely with the sales team and results were expected! As well as managing our small team, leading on marketing strategy, brand and PR, Orla worked closely with the management team to align business direction with marketing planning. She has a talent for taking a holistic view, working with the wider team within an organisation to understanding what's going on within the business and to ensure marketing is involved early, is supported, recognised AND challenged (and that those challenges can be addressed and managed). As a manager, Orla is approachable, supportive, welcoming of new ideas and inclusive. I felt trusted and able to take decisions - and we also had fun!”
