Share share share 50 businesses registered in the last 24 hours, will you add yours? Did you know most teenagers in Ireland cannot name 3 female entrepreneurs! We are creating Ireland's first comprehensive directory of women led businesses in advance of IWD2025. All businesses, all shapes and sizes, all industries, established and start up (18 months+). Let's make these businesses more visible, let's shine a light and put our money where our mouth is and support women led businesses. We can't all invest in women, we can't all mentor women BUT we can all buy from women! Come on all you successful women that are in my network, add your business! It's 100% free, there is no hidden agenda, there is no small print! Please share with you networks and let's get this directory to 300 businesses by Wednesday. I know we can do it! There is no cost for businesses and no membership required and we want to highlight as many women-led businesses as we can. All businesses must be over 18 months old and be a minimum of 50% women owned. Here is the link that women need in order to register: https://lnkd.in/eruadrUv or go to https://lnkd.in/geCy8DB4 The business name, promoter details, website, product and location gathered in the questionnaire will be used to create a profile. Other information will be used to create reports with aggregated, annonimised data to drive change and equality. No individual business information will be shared with 3rd parties..ever! Please share with any female-led business that you know, and together lets make a difference! I can finally share this post… PAIWE has been selected for the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Regional Talent Engines Programme! Starting PAIWE was driven by lots of research, first-hand experiences and many frustrating stories from individuals and businesses. It’s taken many iterations on our mission to bring more trust, security, and transparency to the high-value goods resale ecosystem. I’m incredibly honoured to have this vision recognized and supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering, and oh! so excited for this opportunity. Looking forward to the next chapter of PAIWE! 🚀 Jemma Simpson, thank you for your support! Congratulations to Máirín Murray for one year of TechFoundHer. Thanks for the invite to the 1st birthday party! 🥳 I took part in the TechFoundHer Innovation Labs programme at the end of last year. A fantastic experience, especially for someone who does not see themselves as a ‘techie’ person. This programme really made the world of tech a lot less daunting and opened my eyes to how we could embrace tech in the future growth of our businesses Dun Homes and StudioPARK Architects. Máirín Murray is a force to be reckoned with. She has achieved so much already with TechFoundHer in one year and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next!
So proud of what we’ve built at TechFoundHer as we celebrate our first year! Thanks to everyone for their goodwill and birthday greetings! As Founder and CEO, I feel immense pride, privilege, and responsibility to build on our achievements and spark a tidal wave of innovation—our vision is to empower 1 million women globally to launch tech enterprises. We underestimate what we can achieve in a decade; it’s time for cathedral thinking. This journey is not a solo endeavor—it takes a village. Huge thanks go to our advisors, ambassadors, champions, and allies driving this work. With global ambition and over 25 million women founders in OECD countries yet to be tapped, the conversations and partnerships are just beginning. I invite you to DM me and explore how you can be part of this! I’m also incredibly proud of the 35 founders who participated in our Innovation Labs Programme—Europe’s first tech pre-accelerator designed for women by women with product and AI tools at its heart. Their progress has been nothing short of inspiring; I often feel like Miss Jean Brodie, glowing with pride over my ‘gals.’ On a personal level, the journey has taught me so much. Balancing a brutally realistic approach with wild optimism and big ambitions is not easy, and despite an incredible community, the loneliness of the long-distance runner or founder is real. Yet, that singularity has also fuelled my strength and resilience. I have increased belief in myself, and know that together, we will keep moving forward. TechFoundHer is impact-driven, and this is just the beginning. The terrible twos are ahead of us and now that we are up and walking - there's no end to what we can do! Here's to redefining tech entrepreneurship, where we all build, belong, and breakthrough! TechFoundHer Innovation Labs was a programme supported by InterTradeIreland (in partnership with Enterprise Ireland and Invest Northern Ireland) under the Shared Island Enterprise Scheme and sponsored by KPMG Ireland.
