I speak to lot of early-stage founders, who are trying to figure out their ideal customer profile. If you already have at least a dozen of customers one of the most useful exercise for me is: 1️⃣ Export out every data you have about them from your CRM into a spreadsheet, I think most important are Company Name, Industry, Geolocation, ACV, Use-case/Product being used, Company size(employee count on Linkedin), Job role of your "champion" 2️⃣ If you can, further enrich the data manually or with the help of tools like Apollo 3️⃣ Look for any correlation between your customers, if you find any you might be onto finding a niche that resonates well with your product. Early stage you don't need to overcomplicate your sales strategy and sometimes a scrappy spreadsheet can make a big difference. That's how we found niches like Southeast Asian Payday Loan Companies or Maltese Gambling Operators as our first niches at SEON in the early days. _____ ♻️ Did you enjoy this post?
