Various economic, psychological, and social aspects are mixed, and partially the influence of ideologically formed stereotypes. However, it seems that the perception created over a long time, through anecdotal evidence and the actions of interest groups, is far from reality. Now, perhaps, the turn of events is such that it will clear up many misconceptions and put more accurate information in the foreground.

They are dispersed around the world in the critical areas, and they did force us to build in a smarter way. In the past we attributed their causes to many different…

They are dispersed around the world in the critical areas, and they did force us to build in a smarter way. In the past we attributed their causes to many different things, and today we have much clearer scientific information about their origins, yet, it seems they still make us feel helpless. How did our ancestors deal with all those questions? Hopefully we will get some answers in my interview with Mirko Sardelić.

    The MEETING G2.1 business conference took place in Zagreb from Oct. 26 – 30. The five-day event was held in the premises of FORUM Zagreb, the host and organizer, under the high sponsorship of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, and of the State Office for Croats living outside the Republic of Croatia.

    The mission of the MEETING G2.1 conference was to help revitalize the economy of the Republic of Croatia – to gather in one place and connect successful economists, business people from abroad, entrepreneurs of Croatian origin, with the initiators of this project in Croatia.

    The invitation was addressed to Croats living in more than 30 countries around the world, and 17 countries were present. It was attended by more than 200 participants, of which 47 participants were from the diaspora.

    The second one is to present to audience how to start up and develop business through entrepreneurial culture and modern technology, help them anticipate future trends, source capital and reach investors.

    Additionally, models of such national economies will be presented, ensuring the sustainable economic success with their innovative approach and "start up" mentality, which can serve as a role model in developing national economy, cities and regions in Croatia.

    The motive is to facilitate changes in values and habits, changes in majority of population lacking initiative, creativity and openness for new business ideas and opportunities, what makes the current economic situation in Croatia even worse.
