What happened to my jams?

We recommend that you take proactive action to export your jams to PDF from Google Drive before we delete jams. We're attempting to convert your jams into PDF documents, which you will be able to find in your Drive.

This conversion process was designed to capture the visual elements of your jams as accurately as possible. However, due to the inherent differences between jams and PDFs, some content may not have translated perfectly.

Your jam files will be deleted over the following weeks after we have finished the conversion process in Q1 2025.

What if one of my jams was not converted to a PDF?

We're working hard to create a PDF of every jam. If you don't see a PDF for a specific jam yet, it means our system hasn't gotten to it yet. We have a lot of jams to process, so it will take some time to convert them all to PDFs.

We recommend that you take proactive action to export your jams to PDF from Drive before we delete jams.

Why is my PDF blank?

Sometimes the contents of a jam file may be corrupted, which prevents us from creating a PDF. In these cases, a blank PDF will be generated. The blank PDF serves as a record of the original jam file.

What if I own a Jamboard 55 device?

See Jamboard device end of life information.

What if I own a Series One Desk 27 and Board 65? Will there be another whiteboard app?

You can use third-party whiteboards on the Desk 27 and Board 65 using Google Meet add-ons. Your organization's administrator will need to install these add-ons. For details, see Use add-ons with Google Meet on Desk 27 and Board 65.
