Q: I just received a jar of this and the Best By date is 3 months out which seems like kind of a short timeframe to use all of the product by. Is that the standard shelf life or did I get old stock?

A: Thanks for asking! We pack items when orders come in, and will grab the product first in line when we do so. We are unable to advise of the exact expiration date as a result, but the shelf life of our Plant Based Mayonnaise is best if used by date - if you received an expired product please reach out to Target.com for assistance.

A: Thanks for reaching out. The Date Code Location on our Plant Based Mayo will be ink stamped on product. Date Code Format: Best if used by date/plant code/time stamp, example: DEC2620CFB22:21. The code found near the rim, under the cap, or at the bottom below the label is the package manufacturing code applied by the package supplier and is not associated with the product's best if used by date - we hope this helps!

A: Thanks for asking! Our Plant Based Mayonnaise has a best by date stamped on a side of the jar - the date is read YYYYMMDD. We advise using the product by this date. We hope this helps.

I love this mayo so much, especially with my strict diet. It's soy free which is so hard to find. Anymore most foods have some form of soy or gluten.

This vegan mayonnaise is a perfect mayonnaise alternative if you’re going vegan. It tastes very similar to real Mayo, I could hardly tell the difference! I use it in so many things from dressing to sandwiches it’s really great. Would recommend.

Our family, vegans and non-vegans, love this mayo I use in my simple potato salad. It has a nice consistency and taste. It is very affordable (same price per ounce as regular), and I stock up when Target runs their additional grocery sale. It is also super convenient to have free drive-up offered without minimum purchase (though free shipping with $35 purchase is also reasonable). My very simple potato salad: Mix potatoes, bacon bits, frozen peas, onions, seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic blend), mustard, this mayo in the proportion you like :)

I love this mayo. Other mayo bothers my stomach or has ingredients that I am allergic to. This is the mayo I seek out when I want to make a loaded sandwich or some wicked coleslaw. Love it!

This product was just tried today. After much time without mayonnaise, I decided to try this product. I will no longer go without mayonnaise or be sick. I am gluten-free and dairy-free and this fits the bill for both allergies.

I try to find mayo made without soybean oil and I’ve been eating vegan Hellmann’s mayo for years. The mayo tasted better when it was made with sunflower oil, but now it’s made with canola oil and just doesn’t taste the same. It also no longer says Non gmo, it use to be a 5 star mayo to me.

I had to give a 1 star in quality, taste, & value of which I did not want to rate it. Horrible job of packing so all 3 jars seeped mayonnaise from the seal underneath the lid that busted from bouncing around. The box it was shipped in was 3x too big with no support around each of the containers so they were jostled continuously. Mayonnaise and it's oil was all over the box!

I didn’t think I’d like it, but I do. It’s not like the original flavor but it’s better than some other plant based mayos. I just wish you could use a healthier oil or oil blend. It’s hard to find a good heart smart Mayo. Thanks Hellmans for trying.

I knew immediately that I wouldn't use this. I'm used to the regular recipe so had expectations. The saltiness, the vinegar, they are all there, but there's a certain texture and flavor. I think the starch in the ingredients is what I am reacting to. I just don't care for it in comparison to the regular recipe. I'm looking for an eggless that is more like the regular recipe. Keep trying, please.
