I wanted to love this flavor so much but couldn’t get past the lack of fudge or brownie touted in its name. It tasted like regular chocolate vegan ice cream to me. Perhaps they should have spent more time on the flavor and less of it on the corny (yes, I said corny) “limited edition” protective lid marketing gimmick.

I'm seeing so many dairy free vegan ice cream brands using coconut oil. Coconut oil is extremely high in saturated fat. It is not a healthy fat. There are other much healthier fats that can be used. Part of the reason I'm looking for non dairy ice cream is to maintain low dietary saturated fat because, even though I'm incredibly healthy, I'm genetically pre-disposed to high cholesterol and heart disease. Stop ruining ice cream for me!

Oatly Fudge Brownie is my favorite non dairy dessert in the world!  I have tried every variety of vegan ice cream and even my non vegan husband agrees with me. We did a taste comparison between Ben&Jerry’s fudge brownie side by side with Oatly and Oatly won handily!  The only thing that I wish for would be the ability to buy it in a larger size. I can’t possibly share a pint with anyone!  It’s too good!Â
