  • 🚀 Engaging with Egypt’s Thriving VC Ecosystem! 🇪🇬 We had the privilege of participating in the recent Annual Egypt VC Summit in Cairo.  Peter Orth, joined the panel on "Exploring Collaboration with International VCs to Unlock Egypt’s Potential," discussing key themes around cross-border investment, scaling strategies, and ecosystem challenges. We also partnered with Algebra Ventures and Enza Capital to host a mixer after the summit. It was great to see so many familiar and new faces from the ecosystem together for the event! The energy in the room was high, and following a few leaner years, we’re seeing significant excitement around the tech ecosystem in Egypt from founders, local investors and global capital. Exciting times ahead! Looking forward to continuing to support the ecosystem and build bridges between local founders and global capital partners, and for some additional breakout success stories from Egypt in the coming years!. 🌍💡 #VentureCapital #Startups #EgyptVC #Innovation #4DXVentures

  • We are excited to share that 4DX made another investment in Taager, one of our leading portfolio companies as part of a $6.75M pre-Series B funding round, led by Norrsken22, with participation from Endeavor Catalyst, Beltone VC, BECO Capital, and Breyer Capital in addition to ourselves! 🚀 Taager has been on an incredible journey since its founding in Cairo in 2019, and this milestone is a testament to the resilience, vision and execution of its exceptional team. We’ve had the privilege of working closely with Mohammed Elhorishy & Ismail Omar since our initial investment in 2020, and it’s been inspiring to witness their leadership in action. Today, Taager operates across Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦, Egypt 🇪🇬, UAE 🇦🇪, and now Iraq 🇮🇶, unlocking new opportunities for social commerce entrepreneurs with its end-to-end selling solution that requires zero capital or inventory. Their impact on the MENA e-commerce landscape is nothing short of transformative. We are incredibly proud to support Mohamed, Ismail and the entire Taager team as they continue to push the boundaries of e-commerce in the region. Congratulations on this fantastic achievement! 🎉 #AfricaTech #VentureCapital #4DXVentures #Taager

🌟BIG NEWS FOR AFRICA🌟   We are thrilled to share that two of our earliest partners, MaxAB and Wasoko, have officially merged! 🎉 Having been early backers of each company and intimately involved in this merger process, we couldn't be more proud of the incredible journey both companies have undertaken to reach this significant milestone. Maxab and Wasoko have consistently demonstrated innovation, resilience and a commitment to empowering businesses across the B2B e-commerce landscape across Africa. This merger marks one of the largest tech consolidations on the continent to date.  The combined company possesses a clear path to being the pan-African leader and offers compelling synergies, notably in management teams, technology, purchasing power and cost savings.   This merger represents a significant step forward in creating even greater value for local merchants for B2B e-commerce and financial services across Africa, and we're excited to continue supporting Belal EL-Megharbel and Daniel Yu as they embark on this new chapter together. Congratulations to the teams at Maxab and Wasoko—we're confident that the future is bright! 🚀 #VentureCapital #Ecommerce #B2B #Innovation #Maxab #Wasoko #Merger #Growth Link to article in first comment
