What would be my dream project? As a Salesforce architect, it’s all too easy to get excited with the newest tools and features — say, a project where you get to design and implement a B2B2C eCom, MuleSoft, Data Cloud, and set up some cool middle-office process automation with Omnistudio. Sure, that’d be cool — for a while. Instead of chasing after the shiny new thing, I had to stop for a moment to think what would really make my day. I think it would be to help a struggling business succeed in a necessary transformation. At best, IT systems like Salesforce CRM are enablers and even drivers of change. Technology alone is never the fix to a complex business problem. It can, however be a catalyst. People tend to need something tangible to get behind a change.
