I’ve found the following ranking on Ariase.com this morning of the Top 10 bestseller #smartphones in Europe. It is interesting to highlight that #eSIM remains only available on half of them and mainly on the higher-end ones. LVMH’s Dream Garden was a playground of emerging technologies, replete emerging tech being implemented. 🧪 Bvlgari: Unveiled an AI-powered mixology experience to create unique scents 🌸 Guerlain: Used VR to create a multisensory olfactory landscape 🧳 RIMOWA: Showcasing their products using Apple’s Vision Pro for spatial computing and AR 👕 Loro Piana: Introduced an interactive display for designing digital avatars in virtual garments 📊 Dior: Deployed generative AI with its platform Astra to gather customer insights. 🌟 LVMH: A virtual garden of new startups and budding innovation 🌿 L’OCCITANE Group: Launching a virtual shopping destination 💍 SYKY: Collaborated with Xtended Identity for a digital and physical jewelry collection. 👗 DRESSX: Taking digital fashion above and beyond AR and VR Tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon showcased AI advancements, while startups highlighting AI's transformative power in healthcare and industry. As someone who spent a decade immersed in the incredible world of Clear Channel International—first as CEO in Belgium and Switzerland, and later as Chief Customer and Revenue Officer—I still hold deep admiration for the talented people who make this business thrive. My time there taught me invaluable lessons about leadership, resilience, and the power of collaboration across regions and cultures. Today, my thoughts are with the leadership teams and employees who will embark on this integration journey. 🇬🇧 This end of the year, I took my youngest daughter, Manuela, to skiing. Since we moved to Europe, skiing has become her passion, a recurring request every winter. Seeing her enthusiasm, I decided to try something different this time: trading my over 30 years of skiing experience for a new adventure — snowboarding. It was my first time trying this sport, and I must confess that the experience, between falls and adjustments, brought many reflections. - Courage and Resilience By choosing to step out of the comfort zone of an activity I have mastered for decades to learn something entirely new, I encountered the necessity of exercising courage and resilience. This is something many professionals can relate to when entering new jobs, industries, or even moving to different markets or countries. Just like in snowboarding, learning something new requires a willingness to start over, embrace failures, and persevere, confident that these challenges will help the way for a better future. - Be Humble Engaging in an activity where we are beginners also confronts us with humility. We temporarily step back to create a foundation that allows us to move forward. Receiving criticism — some constructive, others not so much — is inevitable, but understanding that it’s part of the process is essential. This lesson applies not only to snowboarding but also to the corporate world, where constant learning is key to growth. - Prudence Even with courage and resilience, I was prudent in choosing a beginner-level slope to start with. This strategy is equally applicable in the professional environment. Facing new challenges must be accompanied by a realistic risk assessment and a search for initial safety. Managing risks allows us to experiment, make mistakes, and grow responsibly. - Discipline To improve in snowboarding, I realized that discipline would be indispensable. Observing the more experienced, studying their techniques, and dedicating consistent time to practice will be fundamental steps. In the corporate environment, the scenario is no different: when entering new markets, countries, or segments, we need to work harder than usual to accelerate learning and stand out. I could continue with more reflections, but I will stop here, wishing that 2025 comes filled with challenges that inspire us to reinvent who we are and how we navigate the world. After all, true evolution is a process that requires courage, humility, prudence, and discipline. May we be ready to embrace it, never leaving behind the joy and enthusiasm for the new experiences life offers us!
