[SERIES MANIA FORUM] ✨ Talent Masterclass: James Norton (Happy Valley, Grantchester, MCMafia)   Rabbit Track Pictures co-founder with Kitty Kaletsky & Banijay UK CEO Patrick Holland. In partnership with Deadline Hollywood   For years, the boundaries between execs and talent were fairly rigid. That time is over. 🎬 More and more onscreen talent are taking a greater role behind the camera, running their own production labels and taking more control of their work both creatively and commercially. Olivier and BAFTA-nominated British TV, film and theatre actor James Norton, known for his standout roles in Happy Valley, War & Peace and McMafia, among many more, teamed up with scripted executive Kitty Kaletsky to launch their own production company, Rabbit Track Pictures in 2019, with Banijay UK investing in the business in 2023.   🎥 The company is behind a raft of successful projects including Netflix film Rogue Agent, ITV hit series Playing Nice and upcoming BBC series King & Conqueror.   James and his partners will discuss their journey – their motivations, discoveries and ambitions for the business going forward.   🎤 Session moderated by Stewart Clarke International Editor at Deadline.

[SERIES MANIA FORUM] 📣 We are excited to announce that the series project "Ruth’s Ghosts" has been selected as part of the Co-Pro Series and will take part in the Series Mania Forum Co-Pro Pitching Sessions 2025! As part of Series Mania’s presence at the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), our team is proud to support and highlight outstanding international projects. The chosen series is Ruth’s Ghosts, a legal thriller with supernatural elements set in 2030 New Orleans. Created, written, and directed by Jennifer Fox, the story follows a Christian pro-life lawyer haunted by ghosts as she fights in court for her 13-year-old granddaughter’s right to an abortion in a nation where the procedure is banned. Produced by Jennifer Fox (A Luminous Mind Production), Tara Grace (Temair Pictures), and Jana Lotze (OMA INGE FILM GmbH), Ruth’s Ghosts is a bold and necessary project. 🎤 Laurence Herszberg, General Director of Series Mania, shared her support for the series: "At a time when individual freedoms are increasingly under threat, we must take a stand. Women’s right to abortion is hard-won, yet at risk—especially in the U.S. This project is a call to action, and Europe now has the chance to lend its support."
