Caustics dissapearing in the distance... UE 5.5 NVRTX

I’m using the NVRTX 5.5 branch of Unreal Engine. I have RTXDI and all the other new features on the NVRTX branch enabled, and I can’t figure out why the caustics cast on the wall by the lamp keep disappearing when I go further away. How do I disable that?

Also another topic but I’ve also been having problems with these black patches appearing in my meshes. I’ve tried every command and still haven’t been able to fix it.

Not sure about the disappearing caustics, but the weird shading issue to me looks like what you get when ray tracing shadows on a nanite mesh: the two (ray traced shadows and nanite) are not fully compatible, and you get black / shadow shading where there are small differences in shape between the nanite mesh and the original mesh.
