François-Henri Pinault

François-Henri Pinault, the chairman and CEO of Kering since 2005, took over from his father, who founded the luxury company. Over the years, the company has acquired luxury brands including Gucci and Balenciaga. A higher global inflationary environment has been tough for the company, and its stock price is down around 40% year to date. But Pinault said earlier this year that the company is focused on long-term value, and that its confidence is “stronger than ever.”
