Business for Good: Social Procurement Advisory Program Expression of Interest - Rolling Intake

As part of the Business for Good: Social Enterprise Sector Development program, South Australian social enterprises and small businesses (<20 employees) will be able to access 1-1 coaching and advisory services tailored to the needs of your business, with a social and environmental impact lens.

The Coaching and Advisory Program (stream 3) offers two options:

  1. Social procurement readiness advisory - Social Traders will deliver 3x 1-hour tailored 1-1 advisory sessions for SA social enterprises to develop their social procurement readiness and capacity to win work with government and business. This program will include a diagnostic assessment of needs, 3x 1-hour tailored 1-1 advisory sessions based on the individual needs of the small business, and access to tools and resources to build social procurement readiness.  The Social procurement readiness advisory program is operating on a rolling intake throughout 2024 so you can apply at any time.
  1. Business coaching - Collab4Good will deliver up to 3x 1-hour tailored 1-1 tailored coaching sessions that will support SA social enterprise and small businesses with business sustainability and growth needs underpinned by social and environmental impact. This program will include a diagnostic assessment of needs, 3x 1-hour tailored 1-1 coaching sessions with matched coaches who align with each participant’s preferred area/s for development, and access to relevant tools and resources. The business growth coaching program is now closed, all spots for Feb-May 2025 have been filled.

The coaching and advisory sessions can be undertaken online or in-person based on the mutual preferences between the participating business and the advisor/coach. Online access will ensure that eligible social enterprises and small businesses in regional SA can access the 1-1 coaching and advisory program.

To be eligible for this stream, applicants must be eligible for the Business for Good program.

You can apply for one or both streams, but will likely only receive a place in one of the streams to ensure as many small businesses and social enterprises are able to access the program.

There is no fee to participate in this advisory program.

We strongly encourage applications from First Nations businesses, social enterprises, culturally diverse businesses, women-owned businesses, small disability enterprises and regional SA businesses who identify as a South Australian small business (<20 employees).

Applications for the social procurement readiness program are open in a rolling intake until May 2025 (or when all spots have been filled) so please feel welcome to apply at any time if you meet the eligibility criteria.
