  • WiFi replaced the ethernet cable. Bluetooth replaced the audio cable. Willo is going after the last one: power. Nam Ha-Van, their CTO and co-founder, wrote a letter worth reading. "Engineering, at its best, is the careful removal of constraints we once assumed were permanent." That's the deep tech thesis in one sentence. The biggest opportunities are the constraints everyone else has stopped questioning. This is why we backed Willo. • Our portfolio company M-XR just shipped I2M live in Marso Studio. Reference image → four 4K PBR maps in minutes, game-engine-native. Studios get hours back on every asset. The bottleneck moves from production to creative direction. Try it in Marso Studio or talk to the team about pipeline integration 👉 https://marso.app/

Non-hero assets, props and environment pieces. That's where volume eats time and where consistency matters most. Marso Studio's workflow: Input your reference image (an existing mesh is also fine) → Generate the geometry → I2M produces the PBR 🪄 Within minutes: four PBR maps at 4K - albedo, roughness, metallic and IOR, all completely game-engine-native. We are working with game studios to integrate I2M directly into your pipeline, allowing you to focus on the hero assets that matter most. Get in touch or jump into Marso Studio to see for yourself. • Real-world audio is messy and the messiness is where most agent failures actually live. Until you have ai-coustics.

What your user says and what your voice agent hears are not necessarily the same. Real-world audio passes through crowded rooms, noisy environments, codecs and networks before finally reaching the voice AI stack. Once the input signal has been degraded, this affects everything that follows, from voice activity detection and transcription to turn-taking and speech-to-speech models, often in unexpected ways. Introducing Tyto: Audio Insight that shows how the real world is impacting your Voice AI. Tyto is a lightweight model that sits at the front of your voice AI pipeline, outputting one aggregate risk score plus explanatory dimensions across noise, interfering speech, reverb, packet loss, and loudness. Run it live during a call to provide audio context and steer agent behavior, or use it for post-call analysis to automatically flag problematic sessions. Expertly demoed by our ML Engineer Anil Keshwani below. Kudos to Navin Raj Prabhu, Tim Janke, Joschka Wohlgemuth, and the ML team for bringing this powerful model to production. Tyto is live today via the ai-coustics SDK. See details in the blog and test it for free: https://bit.ly/4uviMR0

  • When a luxury house backs physical AI, the buyer base is shifting. THEKER Robotics just raised $85M out of Barcelona. Europe's biggest robotics Series A. CRV led. Samsung joined. And so did AGLAÉ VENTURES, LVMH's family office. Backing adaptable factory robots. Premium manufacturing and consumer-adjacent supply chains are showing up on cap tables before they show up in revenue. Europe has the manufacturing density to be the proving ground. Theker is one. More are coming. https://lnkd.in/etQ-FAzB

  • Markerless motion capture for ten people in a 6×6m volume, real-time. The big shift is the tech behind MOVE. The bigger one is the customer list. Figure, Apptronik, Agility, NEURA. Camera-based mocap is becoming the training-data pipe for physical AI.

Doing a demo for GENESIS and the markerless solve. Here it is accurately capturing TEN people in a volume of 6m x 6m 🤯🤯🤯 This is pretty astounding, works in realtime and the truth is we reckon the system can probably do double this number. Should we try it ? 😵💫😀 Loads more multi person captures to come. For a live or virtual demo, or to experience the system and data quality first hand visit move.ai

  • This IXI series keeps delivering. €14B progressive lens market, 1.2B presbyopes globally in play, and every post is a quiet case for why this team wins it. We saw the demand firsthand at our AGM a few weeks back. Once people tried the demo, they wanted to pre-order on the spot.

Eye tracking slippage management is the key to consistent, reliable autofocus, and in eyewear it is a very different problem than in VR. So let's continue our inside IXI series by looking at what exactly is slippage? When an eye tracking device moves relative to the eyes, the position of the sensors changes and the eye tracking can lose its reference point. Any movement has to be compensated in real time. In VR headsets, slippage is mostly left/right and up/down movement. The headset is anchored against the face and held in place with a headband, so the distance from sensor to eye stays relatively stable despite slippage. Eyewear is a different problem. Glasses sit on the nose and ears, which means the primary slippage direction is downward along the nose. As they slip, the vertex distance — the gap between the sensor and the eye — changes significantly. And if the temples are not sitting snugly around the ear, the glasses can also tilt, creating very different sensor-to-eye distances on each side. Before you can compensate for slippage, you have to detect it. In this video, our glasses do exactly that, in real time!

▭ We've been heads down preparing for an exceptional show for Eurosatory 2026. Distance's first ever public demonstrations of our Field Operator HUD and Acuity OS — live, integrated, and putting the full operational picture directly into the operator's line of sight. BMS data, sensor feeds, vehicle telemetry, thermal imaging. All fused in AR, heads-up, in the field. We'll be on the ground with a tour de force of global leaders in defence technology to showcase the power of Distance's heads-up intelligence. * Distance Technologies: Hall 5A VIP Room 510 (reservation only) * Eviden: Hall 5A -  J128 * Galvion: Hall 5A -  G391 (reservation only) * General Dynamics Mission Systems: Hall 5A - B146 * Supacat: Exterior -  BC70 * SARCO: Hall 6 - G146 Come see how machine intelligence and human vision turn into operational supremacy. • MOVE is a few months out from formally launching PLAY, their real-time markerless motion capture system for live stages. They're looking for world-class venues to test alongside before then. Drop in any performer. Capture the highest-accuracy movement in real-time. Deliver interactive on-stage output and broadcast-grade mocap data from the same performance. Real-time markerless mocap turns every stage into a programmable surface. PLAY is the first version we've seen that could actually deliver this in production. If you run a venue, immersive experience or live production and want to see what this opens up for stage creativity, drop the team a line via move.ai. Congrats team Move. Exciting times! 👏

We have been working on some incredibly exciting innovation behind the scenes at MOVE. Inspired by amazing creative work like this body tracking projection using infrared from Panasonic - it’s an INCREDIBLE watch. We set out to develop a real-time markerless motion capture system fully optimised for live environments, enabling spatial and gestural control linked in real-time to performer movement. It's called PLAY. Our goal is to enable any aspect of any stage or every live environment to be controlled by the performers movement or position. With the system working with a mili-second delay through any variable lighting conditions and across auditorium, conference or arena size volumes. PLAY will allow actors/performers/speakers to use movement to gesturally and spatially control: - Lighting - Projection (on body, off body, in venue) - Digital screen content - Digital/LED screen control and interaction - Audio - Interaction and puppeteering - Pyrotechnics - Augmented graphics in the background and foreground of live streams (2D/3D/4D) We are a few months away from formally launching this and very interested in working/testing alongside world class venues who want to understand a whole new world opening up for on stage creativity, delivered by capturing the highest accuracy movement in real-time live. The system can also capture the highest quality motion capture data from the performance simultaneously to delivering the interactive output ! 🤯 Pop us a message at Move.ai if you would like to find out more about PLAY and whats coming down the road.
