BASEBALL
De Pere 6, Sheboygan South 1
DE PERE - Isaac Herlache pitched four scoreless innings to earn the win in the Redbirds’ victory over the Redwings.
Herlache also had two hits and drove in a run for De Pere. Caden Krutz and Brett Weckwerth both had two hits.
Sheboygan South’s only run scored on a double by Owen Pflum, who had two hits. Nick Hildebrand also had two hits.
Wrightstown 7, Oconto Falls 2
OCONTO FALLS – The Tigers scored one run in the second inning, three in the third and three in the seventh to down the Panthers in North Eastern Conference action.
Oconto Falls scored its two runs in the fifth.
Trevor Vande Hey was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI, while Aiden Humphreys was 2-for-2 with a home run to power the Tigers.
Humphreys dominated on the mound, pitching 5⅔ innings, allowing just three hits, two earned runs and two walks while striking out 12.
Luke Gilbertson was 3-for-3 with two RBI for the Panthers, while Carter Heroux took the loss. In six innings, he allowed eight hits, four runs – all earned – and one walk while striking out eight.
Marinette 3-10, Denmark 2-9
MARINETTE - The Marines rallied from deficits in both games to earn the doubleheader sweep.
In Game 1, Levi Hanson was 2-for-3 as Marinette rallied from a 2-0 deficit, scoring single runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh to pull out the win.
Cooper Smith got the win in relief, pitching two innings, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two.
Eli Kapinos was 2-for-3 to lead Denmark.
In Game 2, Smith had the hot bat, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI.
Trailing 8-6 heading into the seventh, the Marines scored twice in the seventh and twice in the eighth, then held off the Vikings in the bottom of the eighth.
Wyatt Stauss and Sawyer Walters had two hits and two RBI for Marinette.
Kapinos and Braedyn Heezen had two hits each for Denmark.
Menasha 2, Shawano 1
SHAWANO - The Bluejays scored a run in the fifth inning and one in the sixth to beat the Hawks in the Bay Conference game.
Jacob Coopman pitched 5⅔ innings to get the win. He allowed seven hits, one run and struck out eight. Ethan Olszewski pitched the final 1⅓ innings, struck out one and did not allow a hit.
Trevor DeBriyn had two hits and an RBI for Menasha. Paul Schmolinske also had a hit and drove in a run.
Pete Bruette had three hits, including a double, for Shawano. Jerzy Brocker added two hits.
Crivitz 10, Menominee Nation 0
CRIVITZ - The Wolverines took a 3-0 lead in the first inning and scored in each inning of the five-inning game over the Eagles.
Colton Arpke, Walter Laguna Herrera and Braxton Kirby each had two hits. Arpke’s hits were a double and a triple.
Arpke pitched 4⅔ innings to get the win, allowing zero hits and striking out 13. He walked three.
Stephen Allard got the game’s final out.
Mike Chapman took the loss for Menominee Nation.
Manitowoc Lutheran 4, Sevastopol 3
MANITOWOC - Will Franzen’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh powered the Lancers past the Pioneers.
Logan Schuh had given Sevastopol a 3-1 lead in the third with a three-run home run.
In the bottom of the third, Derek Laabs tied the game with a two-run homer for Manitowoc Lutheran.
Laabs, Logan Brooks and Collin Rounds finished with two hits each for the Lancers.
Hortonville 2, Bay Port 0 (Monday)
HORTONVILLE - Noah Jentz pitched a complete game for the Polar Bears in the nonconference win.
He gave up two hits, walked one and struck out two.
Kaden Kreski had two hits for Hortonville. Tristan Berrens drove in a run.
Jake Olson pitched six innings for Bay Port. He gave up four hits, one earned run and struck out five.
SOFTBALL
Green Bay Preble 19-19, Sheboygan South 0-0
SHEBOYGAN - The Hornets had a pair of perfect games in two three-inning wins over the Redwings in Fox River Classic Conference action.
In Game 1, Katie Geydoshek pitched a perfect game, striking out eight of the nine batters she faced. Geydoshek, Sam Foytik, Ella Cotter and Claire Sieber had two hits apiece for the Hornets. Sieber recorded five RBI to lead the Hornets’ 13-hit attack.
In Game 2, Tenley Kuehn pitched a perfect game, striking out all nine batters she faced.
Hannah Von Haden, Chloe Savage and Aubrey Boeder recorded two hits apiece. Kuehn also had two hits, including a homer, and four RBI.
West De Pere 9, Seymour 8
DE PERE - The Phantoms trailed late but plated three runs in the fifth and one in the sixth to earn the Bay Conference win.
Kailey Fink led West De Pere, going 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI, while Lily Bukoske homered and drove in two runs and Brooke Shoemaker was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
Addison Wery had the hot bat for the Thunder, going 2-for-2 with a double, homer and three RBI, while Addesin Smith drove in a pair of runs.
Seymour scored twice in the first, but West De Pere countered with three in the bottom of the frame. The Thunder answered with four in the second and one in the third, but the Phantoms closed to within 7-5 after three. Seymour stretched its lead to 8-5 with a run in the fifth, but West De Pere rallied back.
Denmark 15, Waupaca 0
DENMARK - Vanny Umentum lead the Vikings with two hits, driving in four runs in the win over the Comets.
Maggie Frank earned the win for Denmark, which improves to 6-3 overall and 5-1 in the North Eastern Conference.
Waupaca falls to 1-5 in conference play.
Fox Valley Lutheran 10, Wrightstown 2
WRIGHTSTOWN - Claire Pfrang had three hits, including a double, for the Foxes in the North Eastern Conference victory over the Tigers.
Madison Babcock earned the win for FVL. She gave up two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking one.
Natalie Colwell and Lola Beyer each drove in one run for Wrightstown.
Crivitz 13, Menominee Nation 2
CRIVITZ - The Wolverines used 10 hits and eight walks to score their runs against the Eagles.
Isabelle Danielczak had a home run and two RBI. Kiya Brand had two hits, scored twice and drove in three runs. Lillian Biundo drove in two runs, while Hadley Scheuerman, Izabella Wesolowski and Hattie Frievalt each scored twice.
Danielczak pitched a five-inning complete game to get the win.
Natalie Peters took the loss for Menominee Nation.
Bonduel 2, Amherst 1
AMHERST - Emery Thompson scattered five hits and struck out 12, walking just two to earn the Central Wisconsin Conference win.
Jayla Reinke and Tatum Sporisky each added RBI doubles to provide the scoring. Thompson also went 2-for-3 at the plate for the Bears.
The win sets up a key matchup Thursday as the 4-0 Bears host the 5-0 Manawa Wolves.
Sevastopol 12, Coleman 2
STURGEON BAY - Addison Schauske earned the win, pitching five innings and allowing two hits, one run and three walks while striking out four, and was 3-for-4 at the plate.
Also powering Sevastopol were Kayla Ranly, who was 2-for-4 with a home run, double and two runs scored; Naomi Rikkola, who was 2-for-3 with a home run, double and three runs scored; Braelynn Staats, who was 3-for-4 with two RBI, two runs scored and four stolen bases; Sienna Cain, who was 2-for-4, including a walk-off two-run double in the bottom of the sixth; and Leah Schopf, who homered.
Green Bay Preble 19, Notre Dame 0 (Monday)
GREEN BAY - Katie Geydoshek threw a no-hitter, striking out seven batters, in the three-inning victory.
Tenley Kuehn, Sam Foytik and Geydoshek all hit home runs for the Hornets. Makenna Weidner and Hannah Von Haden also recorded two hits apiece.

De Pere 4, Ashwaubenon 0
DE PERE - The Redbirds got goals from four different players as they cruised past the Jaguars in Fox River Classic Conference action.
Scoring goals for De Pere were Molly Backmann, Mary Backmann, Delaney Widmer and Alexa Spaeth. Adding assists were Gabby Courtois, Mallory Derenne and Widmer.
Pulaski 7, Sheboygan South 0
SHEBOYGAN - Estella Vieaux and Anya Hasser scored two goals apiece to lead the Red Raiders past the Redwings in Fox River Classic Conference action.
Kara Barber and Ruth Krause added a goal and assist each, while Sydney Kuntsman and Hasser added one assist.
Luxemburg-Casco 3, Denmark 0
LUXEMBURG - Emi Kuhn scored two goals and added an assist to power the Spartans past the Vikings.
Also scoring a goal for Luxemburg-Casco was Aaliyah Wallace, who also added an assist. Kilee Barbiaux added an assist as well.
Teagan Gunderson made nine saves in net for Luxemburg-Casco, while Lucy Swetlik made 15 saves for Denmark.
Wrightstown 8, Clintonville 0
CLINTONVILLE - Claire Theunis scored three goals as the Tigers cruised to the North Eastern Conference win over the Truckers.
Also scoring goals for Wrightstown were Kiersten Verbeten with two and Venna Van De Walle, Carlie Verbeten and Natalie McDonald with one each.
The Tigers are 4-2-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference, while Clintonville falls to 0-2 in the NEC.
Kimberly 2, De Pere 0 (Monday)
KIMBERLY - Ashlyn Krueger and Vada Sousek scored in the second half to lead the Papermakers to the nonconference victory.
Emily Urban assisted on Krueger’s goal in the 66th minute, and Sousek scored five minutes later.
