Summer internship (three months) at the University Jaume I (UJI), in Castellón, Spain, in the laboratory for analytical chemistry, headed by Prof. Josep Esteve-Romero. Projects: Application of interpretative optimization techniques in micelles and capillary electrophoresis; and Analysis of abusive drugs and monitoring of substances.
This work resulted in a publication: Determination of sulfonamides in milk after precolumn derivatisation by micellar liquid chromatography. Erasmus internship at the Institute de Science et d’Ingénierie Supramoléculaire (ISIS), in Strasbourg, France, headed by Andrew Griffiths. Projects: “Cloning and testing of new ethanol dehydrogenases for their use in biofuel cells” and “Development of a novel viral inhibition assay”.
The internship was awarded with a studentship from the Conselleria d’Empresa, Universitat i Ciència de la Generalitat Valenciana.

The Professional Women’s Network (PWN) Copenhagen is the Danish branch of PWN Global, a federation of more than 24 professional networks that promotes gender-balanced leadership and equal opportunities for women and men in every sector. Over 3500 professionals from 90 different countries are members of PWN, which operates a vast online network as well as offline events through its national branches.

My role is to organize and hold speaker events that promote gender-balanced leadership and build the strategy for the Balance Leadership department. I have also participated multiple times as a speaker.
