The XC season is officially underway, and the team has come together for the first time. Kicking off with a training camp in Murcia before competing in La Nucía and Chelva, these first weeks have been the perfect opportunity to fine-tune the #OrbeaOiz and #OrbeaAlma, perfect every detail, and welcome the new team members. As a cooperative, we have the freedom to shape our future, but also the responsibility to leave behind a better community than the one we found. And we take great pride in seeing how our collective consistently acts in alignment with these values. This past weekend, several workers from Orbea once again took part in Fundación Lurgaia Fundazioa’s initiative, an NGO we have been collaborating with for years. The goal of the day: to restore and preserve the ecosystem of the forests surrounding our facilities in Mallabia by planting species native to the Basque Country, helping to recover our native woodlands. Additionally, the youngest members of our community had the opportunity to learn about the importance of these actions and actively contribute to the planting of 240 new trees. Thank you, Lurgaia, for your commitment. And thank you to all the volunteers who, with every tree planted, strengthen our commitment to the environment. -- Como cooperativa, tenemos la libertad de diseñar nuestro futuro, pero también la responsabilidad de dejar una comunidad mejor de la que encontramos. Y nos enorgullece ver cómo nuestro colectivo actúa siempre en coherencia con estos valores. El pasado fin de semana, varias personas trabajadoras de Orbea participaron, una vez más, en la iniciativa de Fundación Lurgaia Fundazioa, ONG con la que colaboramos desde hace años. El objetivo de la jornada: restaurar y conservar el ecosistema de los bosques que rodean nuestras instalaciones de Mallabia a través de la plantación de especies del País Vasco, recuperando nuestros bosques autóctonos. Además, los más pequeños tuvieron la oportunidad de aprender sobre la importancia de estas acciones y sumar sus manos en la plantación de 240 nuevos árboles. Eskerrik asko, Lurgaia, por vuestro compromiso. Y gracias a todas las personas voluntarias que, con cada árbol plantado, refuerzan nuestro compromiso con el entorno. #Orbea

But as with any burgeoning category, gravel is evolving—and polarizing. Two distinct camps have emerged: adventure-focused gravel enthusiasts and speed-driven racers aiming to conquer the podium. A special project within Orbea. The Orbea Factory Team embodies part of our brand's values. Since its inception back in 2017, it has been synonymous with reinvention. From a communication project focused on XC, road, and enduro, it has evolved into what we now know as a top-tier World Cup XC team, bringing the action closer than ever. We have gone through different structures, ambassadors, and athletes to experience the evolution of this sport. But this year, we have decided to make it more our own and more special than ever. A team managed directly from our headquarters in Mallabia, with brand-new, custom-built Service Course facilities. This step allows us to have full control and continue developing the #OrbeaOiz and #OrbeaAlma in direct collaboration with the riders. For the first time, the team’s bikes feature blue alongside their signature mint color, symbolizing Orbea’s involvement and the dedication of all our professionals engaged in this project. Remember, you can create this bike through MyO at no extra cost. -- Un proyecto especial dentro de Orbea. El Orbea Factory Team encarna parte de los valores de nuestra marca. Desde sus inicios allá por 2017, ha sido sinónimo de reinvención.
