Key insights from the report include: 🔹 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: Developing new treatments takes up to 12 years and costs over $2.5 billion, with a success rate of just 10-15%. Challenges to Overcome: 🔹 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The lack of centralized data systems hinders effective data integration. 🔹 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Inconsistent regulations require clearer frameworks. Inertia and skill gaps: Resistance to change and the need for more AI expertise in the industry. Recommendations: Collaboration between public and private sectors to create data standards, incentivize data sharing, and develop appropriate regulatory frameworks. The key is overcoming these barriers to accelerate innovation and improve access to cutting-edge treatments.
