The waveguide sidewall roughness was minimized by an optimized fabrication process using hydrogen silsesquioxane ebeam resist and Cl-2-CH3-H-2 inductively coupled plasma etching. The devices show unidirectional bistability between the counterpropagating modes for radii larger than 30 mu m and a strong hybrid output polarization for radii smaller than 15 mu m with a transverse-magnetic component of approximately 30%. date: 2009-01-15 date_type: published publisher: IEEE id_number: 10.1109/LPT.2008.2008660 official_url: http://dx.doi.org/10.1109/LPT.2008.2008660 uniqueid: glaseprints:2009-34962 thomson_ut: ISI:000263480100028 published_online: 2008-10-31 issn_online: 1941-0174 scopus_impact: 17 scopus_cluster: 2-s2.0-70749101064 scopus_datestamp: 2013-10-25 23:36:41 wos_impact: 13 wos_cluster: WOS:000263480100028 wos_datestamp: 2013-10-25 00:25:01 full_text_status: none publication: IEEE Photonics Technology Letters volume: 21 number: 2 pagerange: 88-90 refereed: TRUE issn: 1041-1135 hoa_compliant: 305 hoa_date_pub: 2008-10-31 hoa_exclude: FALSE hoa_gold: FALSE citation: Mezosi, G. , Strain, M.J. , Furst, S., Wang, Z., Yu, S. and Sorel, M.
