A PocketPC with a three degree of freedom linear acceleration meter is used as the experimental platform for data acquisition. Dynamic Movement Primitives are used to learn the limit cycle behavior associated with the rhythmic gestures. We outline the open technical and user experience challenges in the development of usable rhythmic interfaces. date: 2004 date_type: published publisher: Association for Computing Machinery official_url: http://doi.acm.org/10.1145/1028014.1028029 uniqueid: glaseprints:2004-34188 scopus_impact: 0 scopus_cluster: 2-s2.0-77952960558 scopus_datestamp: 2013-10-25 23:28:01 full_text_status: none place_of_pub: New York, NY, USA pagerange: 97-100 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE isbn: 1581138571 book_title: Proceedings of the Third Nordic Conference on Human-Computer Interaction, Tampere, Finland hoa_date_pub: 2004 hoa_exclude: FALSE hoa_gold: FALSE citation: Lantz, V. and Murray-Smith, R.
