Brazil & Energy; are we facing a problem?

The volume of reservoirs that supply our hydroelectric plants has shown a systemic decline in the last three years.

Taking January 2023, 2024 and 2025 as a reference, we can see that stored water energy fell from 69% of its nominal capacity to 61% and 59%, respectively.

So what? Should we worry?

It would not be reasonable to bet on a specific scenario. There are so many variables involved!

I always recommend that my clients consider the alternatives and, above all, have at their disposal ways to mitigate the associated risks. For those who like to prepare, I recommend evaluating this "picture" and creating strategies to face the scenarios.

I am available to help you in this endeavor. Those who plan get much better results than those who leave it to decide in the heat of the moment!
